I cannot say enough good things about Galaxy Electric. They were recommended to me by a friend/realtor and he had personal and client experience with them. They did a complete rewire of my 1903 home, including a new electrical panel and new meter, plus installation of light fixtures throughout the house. The project was big (two-story plus basement, four bed one bath, 2000 square foot house). It cost $26k, but was well worth it. Pete (owner) and his crew were professional and easy to deal with. They kept me up to date by phone, text and email. I was always able to get a hold of them when I had a question. Pete made great recommendations on what to buy and where, to get the best price. His crew would call anytime they had a question and through the whole process I only had to ask them to change on thing (installed a light in the wrong spot), which they quickly remedied. I thought the price for the job size was great and the workmanship was top notch. I would highly recommend them.

They are excellent. The quality of their work was superior and they did not try to rip me off like some other companies have. I would highly recommend them.

Office was very responsive. I was continually updated on when to expect the job to begin. Juan was very professional and explained how we was going to proceed. He also answered some questions I had about possible future jobs.

Three visits: initial look at scope of work and code issues; rough electrical in renovation; and finish work. All work was neat and professional. Will use Pete and his team for work in the future. Highly recommended.

Pete and his associates are great to work with and do extremely professional work. With his extensive electrical background, the solar system installation was first class and is working perfectly. Do not expect to help out as non-professional, as they cannot warrant your work.

He and his workers arrive early and get the job done quickly. He knows what he is doing and explains the situation very well.

They were great! Pete, the owner, promptly returned my call asking to set up an appointment.  One of his electricians, Radomir, came out to our house two Saturdays in a row, which was so nice because apparently they don't normally work weekends.  Radomir was fantastic! He rewired our kitchen, living room, parts of the basement, and ran wire for our cable line (we only had 2 prong outlets, not three prong outlets throughout our main floor). 
We have some more wiring to do upstairs, so I full intend to hire these guys to come back and do that!

We recently purchased an old home with knob and tube electrical. It turns out that insurance companies aren't huge fans of knob & tube and so we decided to rewire our entire house. We collected bids from three different companies, but we received a recommendation from a friend who also has an old house for Galaxy (Pete). Pete's bid was competitive with the other bids we received, but included the most detail and we also felt that he gave some solid advice during the bid process. Plus, he seemed like a really good guy -- we got a really good vibe from him.
Pete was flexible about start date -- he was willing to work with our schedule. His crew (2 guys, plus Pete) arrived on Monday morning at exactly the time they said they'd be there. They estimated the project would take three full days. Pete walked through the bid with his guys and with me to ensure that the work proposed was to be performed. We mapped out placement of all the lights with tape. We also worked through placement of new outlets as well. I asked about overages -- Pete informed me that he would honor his bid assuming we don't add anything on. I asked if the project ran over schedule -- Pete said that his company would assume overages if the project ran over schedule. Once everything was agreed to, I signed the contract and paid a 50% deposit.
The project did run over schedule -- instead of a three day project, it was a seven day project. But I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of their work. They worked really hard to minimize the holes that were cut. All cuts were very clean, making it easy to patch the holes up. They went above and beyond to make sure that the work was done right. For example, we didn't ask them to, but they leveled all of the light switches in our house which were previously a variety of heights. They also offered to mount our TVs for us at no additional cost.
The guys briefed us on the work done at the end of each day and prepped us for the work ahead at the beginning of each day. They always did a great job of cleaning up everything before they left for the day and they even hauled all the trash (and discarded knob and tube wiring) away without charging a fee.
The guys were respectful, professional, honest and thorough in their work.
Pete sent us an invoice about a week after the job was completed for the remaining fees. The total came in LESS than what was proposed. We were pleasantly surprised.
We were thrilled with Pete and his guys. We will definitely commission them for any future electrical projects we undertake.

It was great having Pete and his guys come and update our electrical circuit. Very professional, friendly, and fast. Pete is very knowledgeable and after giving us a very detailed first estimate, followed the project thru till the end and ensured everything was perfect. Overall price/quality was excellent. I would recommend his services to anyone and will  not hesitate to contact him again in the future if I need another big electrical job done.

They did a good job and they were friendly. I don?t know how their price compares to other companies.

The work was done promptly and very efficiently. I thought that everything was reasonable. I thought that he treated me quite well, he said that the job could have been done for so much money and the cost was the same as his quote.

THEY CAME IN AS THE LOWEST BID BY FAR. THEY WERE PROMPT AND DID THE JOB IN ONE DAY. THEY COLLECTED ALL THE PERMITS FOR THE JOB AND THE INSPECTIONS WENT WELL. THEIR WORKERS WERE EXPERIENCED AND KIND. GREAT SMALL COMPANY WITH LITTLE OVERHEAD THAT BRINGS DOWN THE COST TO THE CUSTOMER.
