Frank General Contracting

Frank is super-reliable, communicates clearly, shows up when he says he will, his crew is cheerful and courteous. They did the work really well, and the price was most reasonable.

2 story house on Queen Anne. Excellent - they actually started a day earlier than promised. This is a second property thay have now done for me, it is a rental house and the tenants had zero complaints. Although heavy rains are yet to test it, their valleys and finish work and flashing all appear to be top notch. Clean-up was perfect.

After 20+ years I figured it was time to replace the roof on my house. I got three quotes and selected Frank General Contractor because the estimate was in line with others, but FGC had good reviews, no outstanding issues with the State, and most important - didn't give me a 90 minute sales pitch. Just a straightforward evaluation and estimate. He was flexible on the timing, which was important to me because my daughter was expecting a baby and we had to time the roofing project until after they moved out of the house. The team did a really nice job on the roof, and while the process of replacing a roof is not the most pleasant (!), they did a wonderful job of cleaning up my yard and the neighbors' yards. Frank even went out of his way to help me remove some unsightly cables on the side of my house and repaint after their removal, which is way beyond any roofing project.

The work was done as planned, with helpful suggestions by Frank as to how to optimize the project and very thoughtful insights as the project developed. Thus, we added additional projects for now and in the future - so not only would I hire him again, but we already did for further projects. An excellent experience.

It went well. Frank is full of energy, as is his crew. He performed a variety of services as we were preparing to sell our house. His bids were pretty much hip shots, but seem to be competitive and fair. He responded positively and immediately when I asked him to redo some work. In other cases he voluntarily did more than I expected. He did not ask for extra money for minor changes and was fair when we negotiated the price of a more major change. The quality of the work was generally good.

Frank did a great job! Frank is very responsive. I hired him to fix leaky roof, and drywall repair, slate tile roof maintenance, gutter work, replacing a part of the roof with TPO membrane. Frank does a high quality that will last. He owns his project and very knowledgeable. I strongly recommend Frank. I would hire him again.

Excellent and super fast. A lot of extra roofing work entailed, took off two layers, replaced damaged trusses and breams, laid plywood, under, layment, asphalt shingles(30 year comp). All this while working around and being respectful of us needing to staying in our home. The started on the 2/16 and had us sealed up and cozy in one week. He and his crew are fast and great to deal with. Highly recommend him.

Frank and his crew removed a very old cedar shake roof and installed asphalt shingles on my shed. They were courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the work they did. I would definitely hire Frank In the future for any building or roofing I might need.

Frank came over and looked at the job and said he would email a bid. The bid was acceptable to we said to go ahead with the job. He came over to look at the job again and to get stain for the boards so they could be stained before installing them. He came with two other workers and they started the job. He showed us how dirty the gutters were so we added cleaning the gutters, blowing off the roof, cleaning the skylights, and putting a cover on the gutters. They got the whole job done in one day. Frank said he would come back on a warmer day to put another coat of stain on the boards. It was a really great experience and everything was cleaned up before they left. This was all done over less than five days. WOW!

Frank and his team were great. Frank clearly communicated and documented the state of our 25 yr old roof. From the time we said go they replaced the roof and cleaned up in 1.5 days. Frank was easy to work with and the team was focused and efficient. We hope to work with them on future projects.

Wonderfully! We had a sudden emergency, used Angie's late on Saturday afternoon and got an answer from Frank General Contracting within 90 minutes. We set up a Sunday estimate appointment, got an estimate then and were told the work could be done on Monday! We had to juggle worktimes with other in-house construction about which Frank General Contracting was incredibly flexible and responsive, both online and by phone. They were here on time this afternoon and did thorough and careful job. Very friendly, very helpful. We look forward to working with Frank General Contracting again for more work on our old house!

I was impressed by Frank and his crew from the beginning to the end of the project. Frank was responsive and a good communicator. He always kept me informed every step of the way from tear-down through installation. He patiently answered my many questions. Here's an example that shows Frank's ownership of responsibilities. There was an unexpected shower one of the nights toward the end of the installation. He showed up to ensure everything was covered up in the middle of the night. In addition, his crew was punctual and got the work done on time. After the project was over they did a great job of cleaning up. I am happy with the results.

Frank and his team were very responsive. They quickly diagnosed the problem. He assembled his team and went about replacing the affected roofing area. They were professional, fast and tidy. They left the job site in impeccable condition.

I knew that allowing moss to form on my roof could eventually create a serious problem--specifically, as the moss grew, it could raise the shingles enough so that moisture from rain and general humidity would damage the wood structure underneath. Frank did a very good job, actually getting up on the roof (rather than spraying from ground level) and brushing away the moss from each row of tiles. He then applied clear protective coating. I would definitely hire him for other work, including repair and replacement of damaged wood, including siding, etc. Nice guy, too.

It was great and it was expensive, but it's worth it.

The existing Lexan patio cover removed and the cedar shake roof installed with framing. Frank and his crew have worked so hard and professionally done. Satisfied with the job done very well. Highly recommend.

We are so excited about our newly built, beautiful front porch that we had to share the before and after! We've been looking for trusted contractors in the Tacoma area and several people recommended Frank Figueroa and his team. If it was possible to rate a company 100 stars out of 5, I seriously would. They have been so patient with us, as we are unfamiliar with home improvements. When we were ready to have the work done they were outside the very next morning before 8 am working on the porch. They gave us an outstanding deal and put in MUCH more work then was asked for (installed new front door handles and removed a small tree). The job was completed in less than two days and we couldn't be more pleased. Sturdily built and beautiful to look at. We can't wait to work with them in the future! If you live in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor area and you are looking to have some work done you'd be silly not to use Frank General Contractor. They are the best and we can't thank them enough for all they've done. Side note: At a later date, we had some problems with some plumbing, and instead of referring us to someone they offered to come and take a look at it. When a company is as genuine and helpful as Frank's, I think it's important to bring attention to it.
