Frame It Ltd

I have used this location of Frame It for a number of years, even though there are several frame shops much closer to my home. They have always done a phenomenal job whether it's one small piece or many pieces. They have a huge selection of frames, and seem to know every one of them in detail. Their quality and workmanship has always been top rate, and the frames have always made my art look even better than I knew it could. Usually I have no idea how I'd like my piece(s) framed. Thankfully each person I've worked with at this location of Frame It has been knowledgable, patient and helpful no matter how much or little I plan to spend. They give me their opinion if I ask, but also give me the space to make my own decisions. They work within my budget without pressuring me to spend more. In fact, when I asked Chris her recommendation on framing my African art, she gently encouraged me to choose one of the sale frames, even though I had forgotten about it and was seriously considering more expensive frames. She encouraged me to use the sale frame for all five of my pieces, but I chose to go with the more expensive frame for one of them. I (mostly) relied on her judgement because I couldn't picture how the art would look in the frames. After eagerly waiting for the work to be done, I picked them up today. My art now looks even more amazing than I had hoped. I liked the paintings before, but now they look absolutely stunning. I'm so glad I trusted Chris! I've had similarly positive experiences with the other woman who works there. (I don't remember her name.) In addition to their excellent framing, they have been helpful in ways unrelated to their business. For example, when I told them I was having trouble deciding what color to paint my bedroom, they gave me great suggestions on colors that would enhance any art I hung on the walls. Also, both Chris and the other woman have given me suggestions and shown me examples of how I can display some of my unique keepsakes. Chris also gave me the name and contact information of an organization that may help me build a well in a little town in Tanzania. She has no connection to the organization or to Tanzania--she gave me the information solely to be helpful. If some villagers in Tanzania gain access to clean water, part of the credit may go to the great people at Frame It. I'm giving them a 'B' for punctuality only because my pieces were supposed to be ready Friday but weren't actually ready until today (Sunday). The work was still less than two weeks, which is a very reasonable amount of time for five pieces.
