The custom furniture world sure can be a daunting one. Our goal at Focal Fabrication is to make it approachable, enjoyable, and even educational (if you want) After all, you're not coming to us because you want an impersonal online shopping experience. We enjoy sharing our experience in this world and want to include you every step of the way. We value the relationships with all of our customers and encourage open conversation about the process from pen and paper to delivery. We're not here to "tell you how it is." We offer solutions, options, and transparency in our design and build process and want you to feel like you're along with us in the shop.

Alex was such an amazing find! I wanted a really special set of tables for my pottery studio to act as a centerpiece. As a place for creativity I knew that it was important to have something really beautiful designed for the space. Alex nailed it! From design to execution and on-time delivery of the pieces. It was a dream working with him and I'm sure I'll be back for more.

my crate and barrel kitchen table was completely ruined due a massive stain that was ingrained into the wood. alex and crew came to house, gently disassembled the table, took it to their workshop, resurfaced, and re-stained it and brought it back and reassembled it. It looks absolutely brand new. My favorite table saved!

I would highly recommend Focal Fab to anyone. The process was collaborative and transparent which resulted in a built in mudroom unit that was exactly what I was looking for. Alex was great to work with and provided good insights, was communicative, and explained tradeoffs between materials / design details well. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are great on my piece and it has held up well for a number of months already. I look forward to using them again.
