The owner yelled at me and kicked me out of the shop. When I went to pick up my 2014 Cayenne from an oil changed, I noticed what appeared to be a grease stain at the point where my driver's-side front door meets the driver's-side back door. No biggie, so I licked my thumb and tried to rub it off. That's when I noticed some knick-marks in the same area. When I went to pay, I politely asked, "Did someone brush up against my car?" That's when Lance began yelling at me that they didn't damage my car and accused me of planning to scam them to get my entire car repainted (BTW - my car doesn't need repainting). After getting yelled at for 5 minutes, he told one of his employees to get some white polish for my car and they buffed it out (actually after a very close look, the knicks are still there). Lance continued to yell at me while I simply repeated that the knicks and grease stain weren't there when I dropped it off. In the end he told me he would call the police on me if I ever came back again. I left stunned - my heart racing the entire time from being yelled at from beginning to end. When I got into my car, I noticed more grease stains on my driver's seat (see the pic). Clearly someone needs to be more careful.

The battery was dead on my car. I called AAA and then Fat City. Fat City agreed to work on the car ASAP if I had the car towed there. They gave me special instructions for AAA on charging the battery. The car was towed to Fat City. They replaced the battery and recommended other maintenance. They were clear on what maintenance needed to be done now and what could be deferred. They gave me an accurate estimate and completed the repairs on time. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful and courteous. I would recommend their services and plan to use them again in the future.

Very professional. Final total was the same as quoted before the work was done. Pricing was considerably better than the dealership.

Lance called right away to discuss his diagnostics for the problem. The tests showed a high amount of gases in the cooling system that might indicate an expensive seal leak. He wanted to re-test in the morning before fixing to be sure. He outlined my options if the seal was the issue and was brutally honest about the return on investing a significant amount of money in a thirteen year-old car. The retest cid not show the same results and a new thermostat was put in.
I value his recommendations and appreciated not having to worry about being talked into parts and services I didn't need.

They did a great job diagnosing the problem and worked with my schedule to get it resolved. Even better, when the same light came back on a few days after I got my car back, they addressed that issue (a relay that had failed, destroying their previous work) and only charged me for parts. The owner and crew are very knowledgeable and did not do the sort of up-selling that I have experienced at some Mercedes dealerships. I would definitely take my care back to Fat City.

Great. As I mentioned above, I've used Fat City for many years now. Today's experience was excellent but by now I know I can trust that to be true. When I dropped the car off they drove me back to Magnolia. When the car was ready, Lance called me to say I could pick it up. Everything was smooth and I had no surprises.
