About us
All work is performed by the owner. I have a workshop built inside a van, allowing me to do complete restoration jobs on-site. One window is usually completed in one day. I am a certified Lead Paint renovator and I follow EPA regulationss for containment and disposal of old paint. Cost is determined by the job, but is generally lower than the cost of window replacement. Full restoration of a double-hung window is usually in the $300-$400 range, and sometimes less. Full restoration of a double-hung window means that both upper and lower sashes are sound, both open easily and smoothly (yes, the upper sash really is supposed to work on all double-hung windows!), and close tightly without drafts or rattling. Old ropes are replaced with 65-year rated nylon/cotton sash cord. No travel charges unless ferries are involved. No service charges. May contact through email.
