Fantastic service. I called around and eventually settled on Escarez. To my surprise the quality and type of survey performed was at the highest standard including a full surrounding block transit to be sure my survey was accurate. The final survey included all manner of details along the line, short retaining walls - old concrete structures - fence posts, etc. In the end I was given an onsite walkthrough with the drawing set to describe the details. Extremely satisfied and will use Escaraz for all my future projects -

Rey arrived a couple days earlier than expected but said he was in the area and could do it that day if it worked for us or could come back on the scheduled day. That day worked out perfectly. Rey walked the area with me and explained what he was going to do. He was there several hours and when done, he walked the site with me again and answered all my questions. He found the original survey markers and his findings were within an inch or so of the originals. Rey is a very pleasant and polite man and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

He was extremely meticulous and thorough. In addition to the electronic data recorded on his equipment, he made meticulous notes to ensure there were no errors in the survey. He took extra time to ensure that he did a proper and complete survey. He was friendly and happily let me watch him work . . . which was very educational – I had no idea how complicated it is to do a survey, if done right. His prices were reasonable and competitive. I highly recommend him.

My husband called the company and Reynaldo, the owner, answered right away. We received the bid over email. Once we signed the bid and sent back, Reynaldo, scheduled us in less than a week. He came out to our house and spent 6 hours surveying our property and taking measurements. After that, he completed the final drawing and came by our house to drop it off 3 business days later. My husband dealt with him the entire time so I had questions for him and wanted him to explain to me the property lines. He was very gracious and took the time to go over the property lines and show me where the four corners of our property resides. Since we are Angie's list members, he also added additional features to our final drawing. His final drawing was very detailed and looked really good! We have full confidence that he did a very thorough and accurate job. He is professional and friendly and we would definitely refer him to others.

Escarez & Associates Professional Land Surveyors contacted me within 2 days of my e-mail inquiry for a quote to have our land surveyed on 2 sides to determine ownership of a tree and fenceline. Within the week, our property was surveyed and we were happy with the results and survey map. We needed the location of the street side property line of our lot. Rey was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and gave me a couple of options. His price was much less than the estimate another firm gave me for the same work. Rey was able to fit me into his schedule quickly and provided me with exactly what I needed for my project. Reynaldo was excellent and we couldn't recommend his services highly enough. We originally reached out for a quote over a year ago but decided not to move forward with our project at that time. A year later, we recontacted Reynaldo and he honored his previous quote.

Rey was awesome! Our neighbors wanted to put up a fence without knowing the property line. We had very little notice that this was going to happen, so I had to scramble to find someone to survey our property for us. After calling another company who was too busy to help me, I called Rey and explained the situation.
Rey sent me a proposal letter with a quote for his service just a few hours later. After signing the proposal letter and sending him the legal description, he arrived the following day to start the survey process. I found him very friendly, easy to work with and helpful! He was happy to answer any questions I had and took the time to give me concrete examples of what he would be showing on our drawing. He also explained how we could use the drawing in the future, if property line issues arise. When he came to drop off the final drawing, he walked me through how to interpret it-- where the improvements were, how to figure out how far away they are from the property line/whose property they were on, and mentioned that if I had any other questions, I could call him and he would help me!
The only very minor issue I had was that he did step on/damage a few of my flowers-- I am sure it was an accident because it was a tight spot up on a retaining wall with a fence where he was trying to measure some things. Since the rest of my flowers and plants in that area were not harmed, I wasn't too worried about it. I mention this only because if you are an avid gardener and have specific plants you are concerned about around the perimeter of your property, I would point those out to him beforehand, just to be safe.
I would not hesitate to recommend Rey if you want someone responsive, knowledgeable, and personable!

I contacted 5 surveying companies over a two-day span and Rey of Escarez was the first one to call me. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and made me feel like I could contact him anytime. All 5 quotes were very similar and varied $50 at most from company to company. So $1,350 is a lot of money but that seems to be the going rate these days.
I can't really speak about the quality of the survey since I'm not qualified to judge surveys but based on his professionalism and his ability to answer all my questions, I feel confident that the survey is a-OK as well. The survey was done, filed with the county, and I had a copy of the official survey drawing in a week. The whole process was so seamless!
One final note. If you choose to hire him, do go ahead and check his website for any promotions he's currently running. When I got my survey done, he offered up to $100 discount for donating food to a local food bank. What a cool way for him to contribute to his community. This was an awesome experience! Out of all the surveyors we contacted this was the only one who responded. He was professional and prompt and came out on a weekend to do the job (because he had commercial jobs during the week) He spent 6.5 hours tromping through wooded areas locating the four corners of our property. He spoke with neighbors when they thought he was in their yard and spent time with us explaining how he marked the corners, going all the way down the block to get exact reference points. He filed the survey with the city and we were given a detailed drawing of our property with identifiable markers. I would highly recommend this company to my friends or family and will definitely call on them again if I ever need to.

I needed to get an easement description written. Reynaldo conducted a survey to find the exact location of our structure, our neighbor's structure, and the property line. He also created the legal description for the easement area that I needed. He was prompt, responsive, and done in less than a week. Reynaldo was also good with following up and answering any questions that came up.

Reynaldo gave me several price options and explained each, which I appreciated. I at first went with the cheaper option, which was to not have the property points recorded, since I assumed I knew about where my property line was located. After he did the initial work, however, it was very clear that two of my neighbors were encroaching on my property. He offered to do the additional work of writing up a drawing and having it recorded with the city and appolied 100% of my first payment as partial payment for the additional work. After the work was done, he came over to my house and personally walked me around to show me exactly where the land markers were located. I was extremely impressed with his level of professionalism, his attention to detail, and his desire to have me understand exactly what he had done. He even put markers on the side of the property that I had excluded from the bid at no extra change! I will definitely use Reynaldo for any other survey work I need in the future, and I highly recommend him to others looking for quality land surveying at a fair price.
