Installed an ev charger. Very communicative. At first the job was supposed to be really quick but due to unforeseen issues took longer than expected. I was able to schedule the extra time for another day at a mutual time. Overall very happy with the electrical work.

Josh is a highly capable electrician. He is very good at troubleshooting issues and resolving pesky service needs. He is also great at project wiring, service and panel upgrades as well as incorporating remodel "surprises" into a cohesive electrical plan.

Emerald City Electric represents what you want in an electrical contractor. They are true professionals, and it is evident from the work that they do that they are passionate about their craft. I had an electrical issue that I was told would require complete rewiring and several other things, and in addition, I would need to replace my fuse box. The contractor who originally inspected the matter assured me it would be a hefty expense & asked me to agree on certain terms to investigate further. So I called ECE instead. What impressed me most was how personal the Emerald City contractor was & his willingness to invest personal time to thoroughly investigate to find the problem. I doubt another contractor would have given up his time so willingly. Once the problem was detected, it was resolved within an hour, and he saved me the thousands of dollars I was quoted by the other contractor. Thanks, Emerald City Electric! I will always have you #1 on my list & gladly recommend others.

I got a new electrical panel put in along with a bathroom fan.

The only suggestion would be to update how their paperwork is presented through email.

Joshua and his crew worked quickly and did quality work. The project consisted of replacing the existing 50 year old service line on the exterior of the house with a new line routed within conduit and new amp. Joshua was quick to respond through all phases of the project and resolved all questions and comments from the inspectors in a timely fashion.
