Went very well. Very thorough and went over some of the options on site and then sent a written report a couple of weeks later.

They were okay. They did good work but their prices were too high. They were slow. It took took days to do it and then they left a bunch of material/patio for three or four or five days, a week something like that because they expected they would come back and insulate the walls but their price was like twice as much as anybody else. It seemed like they were a new company and they just didn't quite have it all together.

The inspector was pleasant and very professional. The report was thorough. It took 8 months to get it to me and I had to call to get it……..or get to the next step, twice!

They did a good job and were very professional. It turned out that I didn't qualify for the gov't rebate that they included in the estimate, so they gave me a discount out of their own pocket so they would match the original estimate. I would definitely use them again!

The price was supplemented by the city. It is normally about $300. It was fine. The report they gave us was very thorough. It had pictures of what they had found and several different levels of options like if we wanted to do a band-aid or more thorough or really proactive options with different ideas. They actually subcontracted the audit and she gave me the report, which was fantastic. When we called for follow up information, it was hard to get a response. They promised to send us updated quotes by email and we had to bug them a couple of times and never did get them. We don't plan to use them in the future because of their poor follow up but the original work by their contractor was really good.

Ecofab was responsive from the point of giving us a bid, through the end of the project. They responded to any concerns we had, addressed our home's issues with flexibility and attentiveness, and completed the work well.

They had a program where it was $400 and then they rebate everything like $99 and our cost was $99 and that was because of the energy rebate for that. The guy who came out was on time and was a perfectionist. It took probably an hour for him and they did a blower test on the house to see the leaking areas and wherever the walls he hid a camera. It took them two days to give a written report and he emailed me a written report with the kind of findings and suggestions on the upgrade. They had good communication.

They seemed kind of like they didn't know exactly what they were doing. They took twice as long as I expected them to. They did a good job but I think they were overpriced. I used another company after them and then I realized that maybe they didn't quite know. I wasn't real happy with their services. They gave me an estimate a couple months later to insulate my walls and they wanted twice as much as another company.

I took advantage of the utility subsidized Energy Audit, where I paid about $100 and the utility paid the rest as well as recommending contractors. Ecofab was patient, professional and had excellent follow up. The auditor that performed the work remains accessible for any questions we might have.

After moving into our house we noticed that some rooms seemed cold and our heating bill seemed high, so we hired EcoFab to do an energy audit. Their report was excellent: thorough, easy to read, and clear about exactly what we could do and how much it would save us in energy costs each year. After we had EcoFab implement their recommendations, the temperatures in our house were much more equal (temps in some parts of the house increased by 5 degrees), and our first energy bill after EcoFab's work showed a signifcant decrease in our energy costs even though month-to-month outside temperatures were comparable. In fact, our Puget Sound Energy bill now says that our home is at the very low end of the range of gas used relative to other homes like ours. The only reason I'm not giving EcoFab a perfect grade is that a few times throughout the process we had to call their office to ask them to do something that other businesses usually do right away (send us an estimate, send us an invoice, etc.). However, aside from that, every part of the experience from EcoFab was stellar. Everyone who visited our house was prompt, polite, and after the major work was completed, they did a very thorough cleaning job of the affected areas.

I have never had an energy audit done before us. They were responsive and pretty professional.

ECOFAB recently installed some wall insulation for us and did a great job. So, we decided to try them again. We asked them to install an old sliding door in our walk-in basement. We were looking for an Energy Star rated product that was also relatively inexpensive and had a keyed lock. There are not that many doors that meet these criteria, but they found one. The work was completed in one day and they did complete cleanup and haul away. We highly recommend ECOFAB. We definately plan to use them in the future.

For years we have been talking about installing wall insulation in our older home to make it warmer during the winter. We also wanted to find an environmentally friendly firm that would use safe materials to do the work. A few companies came by to give us bids, but ECOFAB was the only one that really seemed to care about our environmental concerns. They not only looked at our insulation problem, but also provided a number of other suggestions, including things we could do ourselves, to warm up our house and save money on our heating bill. It was a pleasure working with their installers, who really seemed to know what they were talking about. I learned a lot watching them as they did the work. They used all recycled materials and finished the project on time and under budget. They helped us apply for all relevant rebates. They also did some extra weatherizing work, like sealing ducts and caulking around windows free of charge. We have not had much luck with contractors over the years, but ECOFAB really came through for us. And we experienced almost immediate results, our house is warmer and, unexpectedly, quieter because the wall insulation helps muffle out street noise.
