Elizabeth came to our house on a Saturday to see the space, understand what we were looking for, and give us a color palette for our condo. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and got a solid understand of the space and lighting (or lack thereof). She worked with us to come up with a great color palette for the entire house, and then gave us accent colors to use when selecting couches, rugs, throw pillows, etc. She also weighed in on other design decisions, such as lighting and window treatments. Overall, the information she gave us was really helpful. We finally completed the painting last week, and it looks fantastic. I feel like Elizabeth really understood what we wanted, and helped us realize that goal. And we're still using the accent colors she gave us for further design decisions.

Elizabeth was on time, friendly to deal with, willing to challenge ideas on what has curb appeal, and provided several cost saving ideas on existing colors and materials.  She has a good eye for what is pleasing and what is too busy.  We  looked at color combinations on the front exterior, what was dated and needed changing, some modifications on the porch, blending in some of the trim so it didn't stand out as much, and adding trim that was softer in its appearance.

We would use her services again!

Elizabeth was quick to respond and set up an appointment that worked for my schedule. She first let me walk her through the house showing her which rooms I plan on painting, letting me do most of the talking. She was interested to see how I spend my time in each room. We then planned out the colors for one room at a time always referring back to the color palette as a whole to make sure everything flowed together. She always listened to my ideas and provided her input. I am very happy with the color palette we came up with. I now have color samples and a list of which color we decided on for each room.
She saved me several trips to the store to get dozens of color samples and we worked as a team to come up with a beautiful color palette I would have never created on my own. I highly recommend Elizabeth.

I am so glad that I hired Elizabeth to help me out with choosing colors for our house. We bought our house about a year ago.  We have a fairly open floor plan on the first floor, and I've struggled to find colors that will provide unity between the various spaces without seeming bland, and that would also help to accentuate the existing colors in our furniture and artwork.   She listened to all of my concerns and dreams for the house, and then we worked together, looking at many different swatches to figure out what would look best in my space.  After about 2 hours of working together, Elizabeth helped me to create a beautiful palette for our house that provides exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to have the actual painting done so that I can see the finished results!
Elizabeth was such a pleasure to work with, too. She responded to my email promptly and was able to schedule our consultation within just a few days.  She showed up on time and was friendly, gracious and accommodating the entire time.  She also gave me some design suggestions to help improve some other areas of my house, such as adding a rug to an upstairs landing.  Everything she suggested felt spot-on and I am sure I will end up taking her advice on all of those things.
I highly recommend working with Elizabeth to anyone who wants some expert advice on color!

Elizabeth toured our house, helping me determine options for adding color to our living room, kitchen, entry area, and an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. We started with all-cream-colored walls, in our large  home, and I now have have a plan for integrating colors I never thought we would use, but I am convinced will work well.  I am thrilled with the initial results, and just finished painting a small bathroom a beautiful deep purple, whiich makes all the difference in the world.  She was professional, knowledgeable, and immensely helpful, without being directive or pedantic.
I was amazed at all the paint color options and swatches that Elizabeth presented. I'd gone for middle-of-the-road prices and colors in the past (often what was on sale), but have found that the Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams products have been fabulous.  I am paying more per gallon of paint, but it is well worth the investment!

Nice person to work with, professional, friendly and good practical advice. We got options to replace our carpet, re-finish hard wood floors and cabinets to try to match existing granite. We received a plan-A and B. Also got other tidbits for the bathroom and repainting  grill on gas fireplace.

We wanted to keep a semi transparent stain on the house and were at a loss at what to do.  She spent about an hour to an hour and a half and came up with a great plan that we are very happy with.  We were planning on staining our fence the same color as it was and honestly hadn't even considered it when choosing colors for the house.  Her plan included another color for the fence and it looks great.  After we complete the staining on the outside we plan on having her back to help with some ideas for inside. 

She was fabulous. She stuck with the challenge until we found the right color for my living room. She was on time and she was easy to get along with. She was not pretentious; she was just really excited about helping.

What a wonderful way to spend $200.00 AND get cheerful, professional help in choosing just the right colors for our new home! I wanted bold but coordinated and while I could do the former, I was hesitant about the latter. Elizabeth pulled it all together for me and the resulting choices are fabulous. Out with builder's beige and in with warmth and spectacular. Elizabeth was so very, very helpful and seemed to know exactly what I wanted when I couldn't find the words to express my thoughts. I can't recommend her too highly.

It was a successful experience.

The interior of our house has not been painted since it was originally built in the early 90's. The current colors are very neutral, bland and cold. Elizabeth spent two hours helping me to select colors that provide warmth and interest to the room(s). She provided creative solutions such as adding a pop of teal color on the back of the built in bookshelves. She is very knowledgeable and up on all of the current color trends. She brought many color samples from which to choose. She is very collaborative and really tries to incorporate your vision in a way that make sense with the flow and design of the house taking into consideration the natural and artificial lighting. I was very pleased with the end result. She left me with the actual color samples and a list of the corresponding color codes for each area to be painted. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone who may be "color challenged".

Elizabeth was great and we hope to use her again when we're ready to make some more changes in our home.

I recently purchased a new condominium and all of the walls and ceilings were beige.  I thought it best to have any painting done before furniture arrived.  I called Elizabeth on Monday, we met at the condo on Tuesday, and an hour and a half later, I have a color palette and a paint list for my painter.  Couldn't be happier.

I contacted Elizabeth and left a message and she got back to me right away!! She was very professional and friendly. When she came to my house, we sat and talked about what I was looking for and what colors I liked. She was able to then go room to room and check color and lighting plus stone work and tile that was already in the rooms. I loved what she picked out and in fact just had our whole downstairs repainted with the colors Elizabeth helped me pick out. She stayed for 1 1/2 hours.

After having to reschedule on EB a few times, we were able to meet up at a cabinet/granite store to help with putting together colors and designs together. We worked with EB for 1.5 hours picking out cabinets, countertops and and flooring. We were building a new home and needed help with colors as the entire project was a bit overwhelming. We scheduled a second appointment with EB to pick out tile and paint. 
The overall experience was extremely and helpful and we could not have done it without her. I would highly recommend her as she has a real nack for helping put colors together and help with the flow of your project. 
Since I have never had the opportunity to have a personal interior decorator, I did not know what to expect. The price was a bit higher than I expected however what she was able to accomplish within the first 1.5 was amazing and I am so grateful for her service. I liked the fact that as we picked out colors, tiles and textures, she would write them down on her company form. EB gave me samples of the paint choices to help me imagine them together. Once the appointments were complete, she gave us copies of the forms, listing everything that we picked out. This was a really useful tool and very helpful to keep track of our colors and choice.

Elizabeth helped me select the interior paint colors for my townhouse. I decided to have the entire interior (walls, ceilings, closets) painted prior to moving in. I knew I wanted some type of gray on the walls, but I was struggling to pick the right gray out of the hundreds of options available. 
I e-mailed Elizabeth on a Friday. She responded right away and we set up time to meet at the townhouse on the following Monday. I told her what I was looking for and she came prepared with a whole range of gray samples. She was a great listener and had a good sense of how the light in the rooms and other finishings and furnishings would impact how the color was perceived. I was impressed at how quickly she was able to hone in on the right gray. She also helped select a complimentary ceiling color and some accent colors for furnishings. The color is now up on the walls and it looks fantastic - a perfect soft true gray that lends an airy and fresh feeling to the entire space.

I'm slow getting this review submitted, but I'm still so impressed with what a good experience I had working with Elizabeth Brown that I  wanted to make a comment.  Elizabeth has great listening skills and an artist eye for color and light.  Our daughter was getting married in September and I really wanted to add color to our home before that day.  Elizabeth arrived with a large amount of color samples, which if I had been on my own with would have been totally daunting.  But by the end of our session I had a color plan for the whole house that both my husband and I really like.  We had it painted and it looks great !     As Elizabeth walked out of our home last summer, my thought was " that was worth every penny".     My opinion hasn't changed.   Still love these colors!  

Elizabeth was able to set an appointment with no delay.  I showed her the color I had chosen, she reviewed it with the color of the brick and roof (I never thought about the roof) and surrounding yard and houses.  After less than 2 hours, she had a body color, accent color and door color.  Previously, I had chosen light, neutral colors.  This time it was a much darker color with character and body.  It was scary going through with it--would I like something so different and dark that would stand out in the neighborhood?  The color wasn't as dark as I had scared myself into, and it didn't stand out as unusual in the neighborhood and it blended with the plants and trees.  She gave instructions on what parts of the house get the accent color, although the painter also made some suggestions.  The only part I'm still unsure about is whether the body color goes with the brick color that is around it.  Elizabeth was very pleasant to work with, she did not pressure or hurry through the appointment.  She frequently asked for my input.

Elizabeth is a delight and I am so happy with the colors on my house.  She is professional, considerate and talented.  I would never have selected the colors and approach she took without her expertise.  In my opinion, her talent is being bold and creative yet sweet and unassuming  - all at once.  Money very well spent!

Overall, Elizabeth is friendly, professional, and works with your personal tastes.  She put together a color palette, which worked great for me to give to the painters.   I would use her again.
