Peter and Eastlake Paint Co. are the best! We sought three estimates for painting our one-story house. Peter provided the best bid which included a thorough explanation of everything his company was going to do. Pete even gave some great advice about how to use the colors we had chosen. Sure enough, he was true to his word. His company treated our little house like it were a mansion. They went over every square inch of our house by hand, both the prep work and the painting itself. A neighbor just had their house painted by a competitor. Their house was finished in a few short days and, of course, it was sprayed. Our house took a lot longer. The prep work was very detailed and the house received multiple coats of paint applied by hand, both trim and body...and it was less expensive! We are quite confident that our house's paint job will last a lot longer, especially since Pete uses the best materials. (I learned a long time ago that cheap paint is simply not worth it. I always use Sherwin Williams and so does Pete!) Thank you Pete and the painters at Eastlake Paint Co. We love our house!

We've had Eastlake Paint Co. work on our home 5 times, both interior and exterior. The experience has been outstanding and we will work with them again. Here are some highlights:

1. Craftsmanship. Work quality is excellent. I've rarely had to ask for corrections/remediations/do-overs, and on those one or two occasions, they were prompt and fair in their actions. First-rate overall.

2. Leadership. Pete Mertel, the owner, is a life long area resident who built his company on its reputation for quality and professionalism. It has paid off in longstanding relationships with area contractors and residents. This guy is in it for the long haul.

3. Employees. Are punctual, respectful of your premises in terms of prep, cleanup, and being on site with care.

4. Knowledge. Pete has demonstrated a clear understanding of the pros and cons of various products in specific application settings. I have learned to trust his judgement in our discussions about product. The products he recommends cover well, last long, and look good.

Eastlake Paint Co. would not typically be your low bid, but in the area of interior/exterior painting contractors, you get what you pay for. Their prices are reasonable for the level of quality provided.

I have used this company on at least 4 separate occasions on the interior and exterior of my home as well. The work has always been completed to a high professional standard. They are an outstanding paint company in high demand. If you can get on their schedule, it is well worth it.
