We had most of the interior of our 1905 house repainted, including a fair amount of old trim and doors that already had many layers of paint on them, and cleaning/staining/oiling the post/railing of our staircase and front door. In addition, carpentry work was done, including adding missing trim and replacing the spindles of our staircase with ones I had bought at Second Use that had to be cut to size. Everything went exceptionally well from the initial estimate through the final walk-through. The owner, PJ, was on top of everything (despite being under the weather) and always available if we had questions or concerns. The head painter and carpenter, Josiah, did beautiful (and clean) work, and was competent and friendly and always on time (as was the rest of the crew). The work was done on schedule and on budget and we are very happy. Payment was easy via credit card.

Eagle Eye's crew was exceptional. From Day One, they showed up early each day to set up and were there every day until the job was completed. Their foreman checked on the job regularly and checked in with me when there were questions. The paint color for the house was not on hand and he actually went back to the paint store five times before okaying a final color - and you cannot see a difference between the old and the new paint. On top of their attention to detail, they ended up spending more time than expected or quoted to finish the job because of the challenges of working on an old stucco tudor, but they stuck with their original quote. I was very pleased to work with them and would highly recommend them.

They do a really good job. The ownership is really good. It's run by two guys who own it. They are good dudes. They do a good job and they are personal and they take the time to meet with you and talk with you about the projects and make sure that you are happy. The price is little below average.

We had a classic ballard stick tudor, with lots of trim, chair rail, picture moulding, etc. so we neeeded someone with an eye/patience level with detail.
They do a great job, on time, and on cost. Zero hassle and mess. When I noticed they missed one small area with a second coat, a guy was out to touch it up with in a day or two. All in all I dealt with 4 different people, and really only didn't care for one guy. He just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason, and happened to be the guy who missed the area on the second coat. Matt, the musician guy and the guy with the Russian accent were all great. (sorry i am terrible with names)

Eagle Eye did a great job, from initial inspection/review of required work to paint the exterior of our house, to submittal of the bid and discussion of how it might be adjusted, to moving things out of the way, to pressure washing, masking, correcting areas that needed spackle/bondo, to painting the main surfaces and the trim, and then clean up. When asked to add a couple of items to paint, they provided quick bids and accomplished that work as well. The whole team was friendly, professional, and did top quality work. They moved quickly and worked on 2 Saturdays to complete our fairly substantial job. The results were outstanding. PJ kept in constant communication, giving us daily e-mail updates on progress, and also making recommendations on how to handle various issues. It was a great experience overall.

What most impressed me about Matt Elam was his emphasis on the safety of his painters. Lots of painting companies can do a great job (which Eagle Eye did) and keep the non-painted area clean (also key when there is brick siding involved, and well-done by Eagle Eye), but not everyone thinks about how to keep their employees safe. The work that was performed on our house was all above 3 stories high--a distance that could be fatal if someone were to fall. When I asked prospective painting companies how they would take care of their workers, almost everyone fed me the same patronizing line about how their painters were "very experienced professionals" and I "didn't need to worry my pretty little head" about them working high up on ladders. Meanwhile, my "pretty little head" was full of thoughts about how tragic it would be for the painter's family if they had a fall, how sad my husband and I would be to know someone had been badly injured working on our house, what our legal liability would be if someone were to get hurt... Matt, on the other hand, talked about the harness systems his painters used. He asked--unsolicited--if we would mind if they anchored their ropes to a tree in our backyard. Clearly, he CARED not just about the quality of the paint job and offering a low price, but also being a good boss to his employees. Maybe that's why so many of his painters have worked for him for a very long time--something that also appeals to me because that means they're highly experienced. During the project, I got a call from Matt to tell us that his painters had discovered that the flashing around one of our windows was improperly installed. He was concerned that there was a chance of water getting through our siding and into the wall. Although he could continue with the painting of that area, he was happy to pause the work while we got a carpenter out to the house to remove the siding, repair the flashing, and reinstall the siding (which, of course, we did). We were so grateful for Eagle Eye's mindfulness of those details, and for the headaches they saved us by bringing that issue to our attention. This painting company definitely lives up to its name!

They do great work. Matt and his team of professionals respect our property, schedules, lives, and their work. They are professional ... meaning, they 'own' their work. Their estimates are good and reasonable. They operate on-time and within budget, and they deliver quality. We use them whenever we need anything done, and will continue to do so.

They are really good. They are the on-call business of the condo, so they're in and out of here quite a bit. I'd recommend them.

This was a nice company to work with. The workers were very nice people who were personable. They came and estimated the house and gave me some recommendations on how to do the job. When they took the job they were on time and did good work. Their clean up was good, they were very tidy even while they were working. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
