Driver Education Services is an outstanding driving school! Scott is a fountain of knowledge, a witty and interesting teacher, and has developed a system that really does maximize individual instruction, tailoring to the needs of the student. As the website says, it’s all about flexible scheduling. There are multiple class schedules and the in-car lessons are arranged to fit your schedule at the beginning of the course. My daughter was in Jazz Band and several conflicts came up after we had set the driving schedule. Since there was sufficient lead time, Scott made adjustments and we stayed on track. My daughter was a bit intimidated by driving at first. His relaxed and witty classes put her at ease quickly. He knows how to work with adolescents, keeping them interested while conveying crucial safety instruction. I appreciate that Scott has good classroom management skills and doesn’t tolerate disruptive behavior which wastes everyone else’s time. The driving system is brilliant. At the end of each student lesson, they pick up the next student (wherever they prefer – home, work, school) and drive to the drop off point for the prior student. The new student takes over and has her own time with Scott, focusing on her individual needs. At the end they pick up the next student, drive to the drop point, and the lesson is over. No wasted time and completely individualized instruction. Finally, and most importantly, Scott focuses on defensive driving and safety. This is not a learn the rules program. This is a become a safe driver system. Every aspect of his classes, driving instruction, and even the final driving test emphasizes safety. My daughter was not a natural driver. Scott helped her identify her weaknesses, so we could work on those points. As a parent, I could not be more satisfied with her Driver Education experience. Thank you Scott!
