Design Painting

I have used Design Painting multiple times and referred him to other friends and clients multiple times.  James is a hard worker, perfectionist, seasoned professional.  He knows all the tricks and methods to get the job done quick and perfect!  He gives a fair price and I've always been happy with the end result.  I will continue to use him and refer him to anyone who needs painting, drywall, or any other carpentry type projects.  He's personable too, very funny, very wise!

Everything James has done has been of the highest quality. He's detail oriented, honest, and honorable. He's a great guy, easy to get along with, and great to work with. I am 200% happy with the work he's done for us. 
James removed my rotting back yard fence and replaced it with a sturdy, high fence. 
He completely renovated my kitchen and living room - replacing the flooring with bamboo flooring. He put up bamboo on one wall, and painted everything. He came with my to the store to choose the kitchen cabinets and appliances, to make sure everything would fit and provide suggestions. He removed everything from the kitchen, replaced the cabinets and counters, and helped me get all new appliances, and installed them. 
He removed the wallpaper from the kitchen and bathroom, and painted them and the bedroom. 
We had roof rats, so we pulled everything out of the attic, and James started to remove the insulation, but it was summer and incredibly hot in the attic. James suggested we hire an inductor truck to get rid of everything in the attic. It was brilliant. It saved him days of hot, horrible work, dealing with very old insulation, huge spiders, and rats. He looked for how they were entering and plugged up all the holes. He then noticed that our outside shingles had huge gaps, and weren't insulated at all. So he replaced all the insulation in the attic, put up new shutters, and properly insulated them so that we're free of the wet leaking in. He painted the outside of the house. 
More recently, he removed our bathroom and living room heaters and installed new ones. And our street mailbox platform was so rotted that the post office stopped delivering out mail. James removed the old platform, created a new one, and installed our new mailboxes.

We're actually still in the middle of the project as of now, but I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism and work ethics of this contractor. He is highly capable in many facets of carpentry/construction, and whatever he doesn't do, he has a qualified contact that can do it. I cannot say that we have stayed completely on schedule with this project but that is not completely the fault of the contractor. He works day and night and has brought in extra help whenever possible. The project is almost complete and I have been very impressed all along the way.
