If they have to look for the issues it's hit and miss. So if there is something on my vehicle I definitely want addressed I make sure to mention it. Looking forward to getting my vehicle done again this month when I can schedule a weekend appointment.

On the day of the detail, I arrived 15 minutes early and they were ready to accommodate me. The receptionist came out, walked around the car with me, told me exactly what they were going to be doing, and by what time my car should be ready. I signed some papers, handed my keys over and was off to work.
Around 1 pm (the time they said my car would be ready by), I was expecting to get a call to come pick up the car. Nothing. Same for 2pm, and 3pm. I checked the website to see what time they closed, and it said 5:30 so I figured that I wasn't off work until 5 anyway so I would come grab the car after work no harm no foul.
At 3:30. I get a call saying my car was ready and that it had been ready since 12:30. I asked why I had received no call and the lady said she called but that I had no voicemail box to leave a message to (I do have a voicemail and my phone showed no missed calls.) I told her that is fine and that I would come over after work @5pm. To this, I was notified that they actually close at 4pm today and that I would need to come get the car before then.
I proceeded to rush to Derek's which is about 2 miles away (walking this I might add). I got to the shop around 3:55 to find my car outside and completed. I did a complete walkaround and noticed a few missed spots, especially on the wheels. I told the receptionist and they had one of the detailers come up right away to fix it. I was not surprised to see dirt considering how dirty the car was when I brought it in, but I figured and quot;detailand quot; would include every nook and cranny. Since they fixed it I was not upset.
Overall, I was happy with my experience at Derek's. I wish the communication on the status of my car would have been a bit better but technology is a funny thing these days and I understand things happen. Also wish they would have done a walk around of the car before I did to find the obvious dirt spots but what can you do. Overall I came away happy with what I got for the Groupon price, but I would have been a lot more picky if I paid full price. Will do business with them again.
These guys were so terrific!!! From the ease of setting up an appointment to the completed product this crew was incredibly professional, thorough and kind! They even went so far as to put all of the and quot;lost kid toysand quot; they found under chairs or between cushions into a safe box in the back so I had them when I picked the car up. My car was like brand new and so very worth the cost that I tipped them HUGE.
One area of suggested improvement: offer a 5mile radius carpool for FREE. I work at Microsoft just down the road but had to get a co-worker to come pick me up because there is no shuttle to get me to my destination.
