I was shopping for a vendor to apply UV film on the windows on the South side of my house to prevent UV and heat damage to the wood and textiles in the rooms.
After calling a number of vendors both from Angie's list and others The Dark Side Professional Window Tinting company came recommended to me by two other vendors who did not do residential work.
The cost of the job was markedly better than the other quotes I received and after talking to Carlos I decided to go with The Dark Side ( a bit of a Gary Larson fan so also liked the name).
Carlos called about an hour before he was due to arrive to confirm and arrived dead on time. He went the extra mile to remove the paint sealed permanent storm windows on the uppers of my two office windows which provide the dual pane performance on these double hung windows and applied the film on the inside
His work was excellent and the results are, as far as I can tell, perfect.
Prompt, courteous, and quality work at a reasonable price.  What else could you ask from a contractor.
I toyed with the idea of doing this job myself, but after watching Carlos I realized I not only did not have the right tools but did not have his skills attained from 18 years of experience.

Not an easy place to tint windows on my stairway, 6 windows plus a glass door needed to have old tint removed and new tint installed.  Carlos came out a week earlier, saw the job, suggested a tint to that would work for what I wanted, heat reduction and UV protection.  He had to work on a ladder for about half of the job, showed up on time, windows and door look great, he cleaned up afterward, just did a great job.

Carlos does excellent work with quality materials. He has done another of my cars previously and there were never any problems with tinting bubbles or fading after several years of sun exposure.
He gave me a quote and when I showed up for the appointment I asked if he could add the sunroof. He gave me the additional amount which was very reasonable considering the curved shape of the inside of the sunroof. I went for a walk to a nearby store while he did the work. When I got back he was almost done. I don't recall what I paid him, but the work was flawless, and the price was reasonable.

Called numerous shops in the area for price of installation and he had the best price by far, so I decided to have him perform the work. I dropped my car off in the morning and Carlos said it would be done around the afternoon. The job did get delayed for an hour but he called me to let me know he was running behind schedule which was great. Overall, he did a great job and I was pleased with the work. I'd definitely go back again.

This company is a one man operation. He made special arrangements to tint my windows and even came in on Saturday. I could tell when I got there he was the guy I should be dealing with. He was professional, honest, and a hard worker. I would highly recommend him to others looking to get their windows tinted in this area.

Good experience. Small and dirty shop, but very professional and did a great job. It was done on time at the price quoted.
