I have been a customer of D&D brakes for over 15 years! It's the only place I will go for brake service. Terry and his crew are awesome! They do great work, super fast and you can trust them! One of my first experiences with them I was expecting to need all new brakes, rotors, and sensors. When they finished they told me they only needed to replace two pads and everything else looked good. I was shocked! How many times have you gone in for service and are told you only need a couple of the items you expected to have done because the other items still had life in them? Their prices are awesome too! I was at the dealership getting an oil change and they decided to give me a quote for front brakes, rotors and sensors because I needed them done sooner than later...D&D was 1/3 the price of what the dealership quoted me. The BMW dealership does have sodas and latte's for "free" but it would have cost me over $800 more to have it done at the dealership! D&D is awesome and I highly recommend them! Thanks Terry, keep up the great work!

Service provider provided explanation of why the rear brake service was needed. The Jeep dealership claimed I needed front brakes as well, which was dishonest. This service provider said I still had 80% of the front brakes.

Originally received an estimate from a big chain brake/tire shop in the area. I was not happy with the price and the work suggested so decided to go to D&D based on Angie's List and Yelp recommendations.
D&D was suggested slightly different work (no caliper replacement) that saved me money I didn't need to spend.
They were very professional and did the work quickly.

UPDATE: After having the brakes for over a year now, I have been disappointed with the quality. The brake pads throw an excessive amount of dust (much more than the OEM BMW pads), and tend to be noisy at very low speeds (especially if it damp out and the pads are cold).

Great! They looked at the car, said it didn't need any work. That it was just some rust that could go away after a long trip. Always great to hear that no work is needed. How amazing/honest!

Called in the morning and set appointment, same day. Took my number and called me 20 minutes after dropping it off with a cost and time estimate. Asked to be sure that all the services recommended were OK to complete and gave professional advice. Replaced all the brake pads, rotors, and brackets. Noticed my brake light notice in my car was on and fixed my brake light for free. In at 1:30P and finished by 4:30P. Quick and easy! Thank you Dand D.

I set an appointment with Larry to check the brakes on my Cadillac CTS V. He checked but could not get the rotors and pads as parts for the type of brakes(Brembo) were not available from his suppliers. Larry recommended that try and get the parts myself and he would install. He provided me a quote for the installation and system flush( recommended). My brother in law who is a car dealer in another state helped me get needed parts and when received I made an appointment for the service. I am very happy with the results. Larry was great to work with and I would not hesitate to bring my car back.

They evaluated my brakes and--amazingly--told me that I didn't need any work done on them. A previous mechanic had said that I needed to have all the rotors machined and new pads installed, and Dand D informed me that I still had 75% of my pads left and absolutely didn't need new brake pads or any rotor work. They did everything possible to make the squeaking go away (it was gone when I left) and didn't charge me for the evaluation.

When I need new brakes, they said, it will be time to do the rotors and upgrade to ceramic pads, but my car was 100% fine for now. I was really impressed with their customer service, honesty, and kindness. The quote they gave me for the future rotors/new pads work was $200 less than my previous mechanic and $600 less than the dealer. Thank you Dand D, I will be a repeat customer!

Everything went well. I dropped my car off and the brakes were completed the same day. The only thing I noticed was a little bit of air in the brake lines and I brought the car back the next day and they bled the brakes while I waited. Everything works perfectly now. These guys don't try to upsell you things like other repair shops do. I recommend these guys.

After getting an estimate at a big tire store (LS) we were told we needed everything replaced in the braking system on our '79 Bronco. It just wasn't right, my boyfriend had restored the vehicle and knew that some parts were ok, it had just been abused and neglected for awhile, but he didn't have the time or means to fix it himself. After reading reviews online, we decided to take the vehicle to Dand D Brakes on Aurora. Without discussing the original estimate we got from the other guys, we received a much more reasonable and realistic estimate ($400 less) we decided to have Dand D do the work. They took the vehicle and told us it would be ready the next day around 3 pm. True to their word we got a call around 3 pm the next day, we picked up the vehicle and had no surprises when we received the bill. They only did the work necessary and charged fairly.

We would highly recommend Dand D brakes to anyone needing brake service, and in fact have told many who were curious about how it worked out with the brake repair on and quot;Big Blueand quot;. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they are not open on Saturdays.

Stopped by to find out what was.. car making high pitch squealing noise all the time. Took my car right in and advised the noise was the brake sensors letting me know the pads are low before more damage could be done. They fixed it in 1.5 hours and for a reasonable price. They were very kind and considerate. A great experience!!!!

D and D Brake Service was able to get our car in immediately even though we contacted them at closing. They locked our Subaru Outback in their garage overnight for security purposes. The premises are very clean and organized. Great guys to work with; knowledgeable and skilled. No surprises, priced exactly as quoted, car was ready when they said it would be.

It was mostly front brakes. They replaced the brake pads and did some grinding on the discs. They also replaced the brake hood and got everything working again with brake hood pressure. They were super responsive and got the job done quickly. They explained everything well and gave me a good estimate and met that estimate. They were great.

I called Dand D Brakes to make an appointment to get the brakes done on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I knew that the front brakes needed to be done and the rear brakes were close, so I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. Larry quoted me a price of $150.00 per axle or about $350 for the whole job, including tax, and he'd get me out by 10:30 or 11:00 am if I brought the car in before 8:00am.

A arrived on the Friday morning and within 5 minutes Larry had my Jeep up on the rack and was busy inspecting the brakes. After a brief inspection Larry comes over and says that there is a slight problem, the rotors are too thin to be turned (resurfaced). He showed me the specifications from Jeep and the measurements from the rotors on the car - there was no doubt that the rotors had to be replaced. i was afraid that I'd just gone from $350 to upwards of $1,000 to do this job. Larry told me to go sit down, take a deep breath and he'd make a phone call.

A few moments later Larry comes back and tells me that he can get me out the door with new rotors and brakes for about $550. I told him to go ahead and do the work and asked him when I'd be able to pick up the Jeep. I expected that it would take considerably longer to complete the work, as they had to order the rotors, calipers and other parts. Larry said that he'd be able to get it done, as originally promised, by 11:00am.

I walked down to the iHop a few blocks down Aurora, had a nice breakfast, and about 10:45am Larry called my cell phone to tell me that the work was done. The work was excellent, done on time and for far less than expected. D and D Brakes was the only brake shop my father trusted and the only place that I'll ever trust to work on the brakes of my cars. They'll never lie to you, they'll never attempt to sell you something you don't need (or more than you need) and they'll give you 100% value for every dollar of your money. Oh, and if Larry tells you that you need something, you really need it. Larry doesn't play games with safety, he and Don (the owner) take their job seriously, and they take your brakes seriously. There is no better brake shop anywhere on the west coast.

D and D did it for less than half the price. I called them the day before, brought it in the next day, it was done just after lunch. I continue to use D and D ... fast, reasonably priced, and very honest is perhaps the best reason I keep coming back.. So many times I have come here after some other car service locations pushed for more extensive and expensive repairs. D and D only did what needed to be done, often saving me hundreds of dollars. If they can solve your problem with a simple fix, thats what they'll do. They have never tried to upsell me into unneccesary repairs. Thank you D and D for being a good honest car service.

Don and Larry were very professional and personable. Don was enjoyable to talk to. I do not know a lot about auto service so Larry explained and showed me how bad things were and what needed to be done. I Left my pickup at 8am and had it back by noon. The price was less than an estimate I had gotten from a major brake company and included all new parts. I would use them again and highly recommend you support this small local business!

I brought my truck to Dand D brake. Don is an expert in classic vehicle brakes. I left the vehicle with him for a day, and he spent the day calling for prices on parts. He then had me come back and made his recommendations - I could choose how much I wanted to do (if at all), including replace versus resurface drums. Don spent a couple of weeks on the truck (slow to get parts). Came back perfect - hard brake pedal, stopped well, didn't pull. One month later the master cylinder developed a leak. Took it back - Don and Larry were great - ordered replacement part (under warranty) and replaced it with no additional labor charges, no questions asked. Wow! These guys are great! I also took our 2002 Passat there - it had worn brake pads. Dropped it off at 0830, done by 1100 - turned rotors and new pads (rear) - $149. I would highly recommend this place for their HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM, etc. There aren't many independent shops like this left. Lucky to have found them. They take pride in what they do and want to make the customer happy.
