Dahlgren Electric

Went great, Randy was punctual and professional. He is not used to interacting with homeowners (usually only deals with general contractors) so he was a little brusque, but did a great job.

Mr. Dahlgren was called to fix a ceiling light in our kitchen. He found it could not be repaired. We bought a new fixture and he subsequently installed it. He was helpful, prompt and professional. We would certainly use him again (and intend to) for any sort of electrical project we need performed in our house. Highly recommended.

Just great, very professional and detail oriented. I changed mi mind a couple of times adding / removing items in the list and he was always flexible. He even proactively reduced the price because he considered that the his work was going to take less time. He was also very kind all times, punctual and neat. In a few words, absolutely recommended.

Great. He came by once to give us an estimate and check things out. Was helpful and punctual. Then came back a week later prepared to do what we asked. The rewiring in the basement proved tricky, so he was working at our place for a little longer than expected: about 3-4 hours.

No problems whatsoever.

I had trouble with my front porch light and an overhead light just inside the front door. I had used Randy before and he did a great job. I called him earlier in the week and we set up an appt. He arrived on time and quickly went to work. He had everything fixed in less than 45 minutes. He explained everything as he went along. Super nice guy and very honest! It's not often that you find an electrician as capable and honest as Randy. I will definitely use his services again.

It went fine. He was very courteous. The first issue was a hidden reset switch which he located that had been tripped, the second was a rewiring of a bathroom recessed light. He promptly diagnosed the problem and returned with tools and replacement fixtures - making it an easy one day thing. His hourly rate seemed high but he was efficient and solved the problem.

Everything was okay and I thought they did a good job. I was pleased to have them come over and fix my switch. The price was a little higher, but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend them for any electrical job. I would use them again.

I think this was a terrific experience. Randy showed up for the estimate appointment right on time and was careful and thorough. He made sure he understood what I had in mind. He scheduled the work and again, was right on time, did the work exactly as he had estimated, cleaned up, and was patient and pleasant. I really put off jobs like this, because I anticipate always having a problem. There were NO problems! Furthermore, the price was right. Other bids were all over the place, and Dahlgren's was by far the most reasonable. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone. Yay!!!!!

I called Dahlgren Electric after a couple of other phone calls. I wonder now why I didn't call here first! Other companies said it would be potentially weeks till they could see me. Mr. Dahlgren said he could be out that same day. He arrived when he said he would and got right to work. Not only did he fix the original problem, but because he was concerned about some obviously home grown electric work, he brought the wiring up to code. This was done at no extra cost... just the cost of the visit. He kindly looked at a couple of other potential projects and gave helpful advice and encouraged me, as the projects were small, to make a list of work so as to make a trip out most cost effective... FOR ME. Mr. Dalgren was professional, easy to work with and extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for a large or small job.

Randy immediately grasped the problem and replaced the faulty breaker. He also repaired an outside light/switch which had not worked in eleven years. He was completely professional and competent. He later sent me an estimate, as he promised for additional electrical work at my home.

The problem was the plumber had installed a water heater on an inadequate electrical circuit. The breaker kept tripping, and we got conflicting stories from two other electricians, on the breaker's safety. One said it was fine, the other said it was a fire hazard. My parents are in their 80's and this was a unnerving situation. That's when I joined Angie's List, and found Dahlgren Electric. Randy was great. He returned my call within an hour, and arranged to meet me on the next day, which was a Sunday. This meant I didn't have to lose work, so I was very pleased. He spent a good chunk of time exploring and diagnosing the situation. He came up with a good solution, gave us a fair estimate, showed up on the arranged day, and did a great job, for his estimated amount. He went above the call of duty, too, when he went searching for a better quality part. We are very pleased with Randy, and recommend him wholeheartedly.

Returned calls very quickly. On time for appointments. Explained what needed to be done and did it very quickly and neatly. Needed to find replacement parts, did so within a couple of days, called back and scheduled follow-up appointment right away. Replacement fan is working perfectly. Professional, neat and courteous service.

Returned my call the day I called him then set up the appointment for early the next morning. Arrived right on time, brought necessary replacement switch (since he took info about the problem from me when we spoke on the phone). Quick, neat, professional and checked other similar switches while in the house. A bit expensive, but seems to be in the ballpark of others called. I would call again, and will consider for a major remodel job which will require extensive electrical work.

He was on time and straightforward. I was satisfied with his work.

Randy performed the work quickly and well, with consideration for the rest of the remodel (i.e., he didn't damage the walls or ceiling any more than necessary). While he's not the most expressive guy, Randy was quite professional, responsive, and willing to answer questions.

Punctual, efficient, found the problem and fixed it.

Randy was extremely efficient, arrived on time and was able to accomplish the work in less time than he had anticipated.

Randy is very professional, worked in a methodical way, and he explained well what he was doing and why. The repair in this case was trivial, but it doesn't diminish the value of the work.
