The roof Job was ok, they did not inspect the sub conractors work. They seemed to be more concerned about getting payment. Appear to be inexperienced with planning and scheduling. Kitchen project was a disaster. Did not listen to the customers requirements. Scheduling was sloppy at best. When a worker was sent out to the site, they usually did not know what they were supposed to do. Took weeks to compete, and really never finished the job. I sent them away.

David VanSanford Jr., the main guy behind Craftsman Construction Inc., was probably over-qaulified for this job, after seeing his portfolio of previous fine carpentry and remodeling projects. Always professional yet easy to talk to, Dave put in a competitive bid and carried out the job as planned. He accommodated an adjustment needed to install the roof panels (adding spacers) adeptly. We were pleased with the quality of the work - the added roof joists and joints were straight and sound, the miter cuts clean and aligned. He showed up on the days promised and completed the work efficiently. We especially liked seeing all the signs of a solid, legitimate business: A written estimate with company name and address, a proper written / paper invoice upon payments (again with company name and invoice #), sales tax broken out in the invoice, and he did not require an advanced payment for work to begin. We feel the quality of work was a good value for the price, especially given the cost of the deck cover materials involved.
