This contractor was recommended by our real estate agent. He was a huge disappointment. He would work for a few days and then disappear for a few days. His drywall sub did a TERRIBLE job on the drywall installation and texturing. We had to have him redo some of it and it still wasn't right. There are ripples in the drywall, smooth and rough patches in the texture, big chunks of mud on the corners; at some point, we will have to reinstall the drywall and start over. Later we found that some of the framing and wiring hadn't been done right either and we had to redo it. He used the wrong trim around the window and we had to replace that. Basically we have redone everything at our expense rather than have to deal with him again. Why oh why did my husband pay him the entire balance before the work was complete? Next time, I'm writing the checks.
