I'm not even sure an "F" grade even covers it. Our job remains incomplete and most of the work that was actually done is terrible. The contractor did whatever he wanted for some of the renovation (incorrect kitchen back splash tile, incorrect custom cabinets, incorrect paint color throughout entire place, incorrect bathroom tile, the list goes on of things that we picked out that ended up incorrect...). In the beginning, the contractor Curtis Kitchen would answer calls and texts but as the project drew on, there was little to no communication with us, despite repeated attempts to call and text with questions and concerns as far as timeline, incorrect installations, etc. He kept requesting money to complete the job. Once he got what he wanted money-wise, he took off and claimed that the job was "finished." To top everything off, a three-year-old could've done a better job tiling, and at one point it LITERALLY fell off the wall in the kitchen. To "fix" it, they slapped it back on the wall completely crooked after we asked them to redo it, and he claimed that, "it's only a rental, so it's not a big deal." Now here we sit with an unfinished project a month longer than promised. I guess I should note that he was actually considered a "friend" before this project which is why we trusted him initially. It's been a gigantic headache and we will be filing every complaint possible with the State of Washington. In a nutshell: just BEWARE. Run. Run far away. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else who is more credible and qualified. This has been a terrible experience and I hope this review helps even just one person.
