The internet is a little slow that is why I want to go back to the company I had before. A lot of times when they come here, it is almost like you have to know the language/lingo on how they use these things. When you call in you have to know whatever they ask you and I am thinking, I don't know what you are talking about! That is the only thing I don't like. They assume that you know what they are talking about when you don't use it everyday and you don't even what it is and what it looks like. I am not going to use them in future. I am going to find a faster service.

After a considerable number of services, it's working fine now. It took a lot of work to get it to that state.

I only have Century Link and Xfinity to chose from as far as internet providers.  So between the two evils, I chose Century Link.  They have better customer service and faster speed, even though Xfinity "says" theirs is faster, it's not.  Issues I do have with Century Link is I have to call them Every year and renegotiate my service cost.  Plus, sometimes they slow my speed down and wont tell me, and I have to call them to find out what happened and argue for a refund.

Adequate and gets the job done, but we've had issues.  That said, your options are limited for phone/internet service.  And we have had several service outages over the years we have used the company. The highlight was in 2014 when our service quit working ...no phone, no internet, nothing.  It took multiple days for service to be restored, while we were being charged for service.  We eventually discovered (through a very nice repair person who discovered the problem down the street while making a repair for another neighbor, saw our name on the list and reached out to us via our mobile phones since our home telephone was down) that numerous people in our neighborhood were without service.  The reason - it appeared that a repair person was out fixing/connecting someone else's line several days before and just cut through the lines for multiple people, then closed up the connection box and left.

It is probably not more than $50 per month. It's one of the cheapest things you can have. It's a basic phone service with a voicemail. They're pretty cheap. But, not anything great. They're alright.

They just send me a bill.  I think they charge too much.  Their prices are terrible.

It went fine considering the problem turned out to be on another street.  I think it took a couple of days for them to track the problem down but, they kept at until the problem was fixed.  Other than that the service has been fine.

The provider was very responsive to our needs...took down old lines that were polluting the environment and installed a new line so that we could build a patio deck above the garage...located alive lines in the house and did his best to link us up conveniently.
Nice job.

Every month I get a quoted price for the future month then when my bill comes it has increased in price. I was offered a credit and the following month my bill was actually $40 more than what it usually is. I have to call every time my bill goes up to lower it. If I find a better company I will chose to go with them instead.

Phone would hang up after 2 rings so that we could not get any messages for past3 months and would buzz so loud that it was hard to hear on outcalls.  Left us with no internet service for over a week when they disconnected it in error, then told us to ignore bill for bundled services for September, as it "would be rebilled with a $25 credit loss of internet services".

Today, we got a $235 bill for September with $6.00 late charge, no credit for their mistake on the internet, no credit for 3 months of faulty phone connection /service and the customer service recording says they are closed on weekends.

I am thinking that I would like to go with local company for internet, ie: Click, here in Tacoma.

We had canceled our service two years ago because of lousy service but at 95 she wants her TV and internet.  Instead of transferring the service, they closed one account and opened a new one, which has caused all kinds of issues.  We kept the same modem and moved it over.
Now she keeps getting a bill for "unreturned" equipment.  When I call they "take care of everything" and then she gets another bill the following month.
The phone and internet service is bundled with direct TV.  The first 3 months she was to have the premium channels free but she was billed for them.  I called Direct TV and they gave her the credit but since it was just after their billing had been sent to Century Link it didn't show up.
After talking to Century Link we did not pay the $47, however it has shown up as late on every bill since then.  Plus she is still getting the bill for her old account for the equipment she is still using.
The customer service people are really nice and polite but they have lied to me about her bills and what she is paying and now they are charging her $16 more than the original agreement.
When she first signed up with Century Link at her old address she purchased the modem and didn't have to pay rent on it.  Now they say she didn't buy it so she is having to go through her papers and see if she can find the old bills or the information showing she did buy it.
I would really like to find a different service for her that won't cost her a bunch.  I am just glad I can be here to make all the phone calls for her every month.

The only landline and internet option was Century Link.  It has been the worst experience.  After an hour on the phone to establish service, activation of the line did not occur on the day expected.  When I called to inquire, I was on the phone again for another hour just to get a new and I was given another activation date.  The date came and went, and I waited another hour on the phone again for yet another date.  The date came, no service, another hour with customer service, then another hour with tech support.... FRUSTRATING.
Finally after the phone was connected, I could test the internet.  INTERNET didn't work!  Which meant....at least another hour on the phone with tech support.
Internet service was inconsistent and I finally just cancelled service with Century Link completely.  By the way, that was forty five minutes.
The employees don't listen, and I have to repeat myself many times.  Half of the employees seemed like they hate their jobs.
AVOID AVOID AVOID CENTURY LINK LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Kept raising my rates, my reward for 11 years of loyal service...slowly watching my tv, phone and internet plan rise to as much as $220 a month! Dropped TV and it only went down to $130! drop phone a few months later and was insulted internet was $72 a month!  What a rip off and horrible horrible people! Never ever use these guys, they need to learn the customer is in charge and wont put up with constant rate hikes and price gouging.

They are fine. I do not have a problem with them. It is excellent service. I got a son in the Army who spends time overseas and we he is overseas we change our service so that makes it easier for him to get back to us when he gets an opportunity to do so. They have been very responsive.

It was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I called and spent 3 hours on the phone talking to the most ignorant people I have ever talked to. They did not even set up the services I needed after all that time. I had to call them 4 more times and had to switch telephone numbers several times because they said the previous people who I talked to did not do it correctly. They then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because I picked bad numbers. I talked to several supervisors who said they finally figured it out. But then for the internet they said my modem would work but after they set it up they told us that it actually wasn't going to work so I had to order and pay for a new one that made me without internet for anohter week. Overall it was the most frustrated I have ever been with any company. It was a horrible experience and if they were not the only company that gets service out here I would choose any other company. I would never recommend them to anyone.

My husband used to work for them and I have just hung in there through the years.  I have been very satisfied with them.
