Cascade Lawn Design

I think this business has closed is doors. Work is very poor, never on time and he (Chris Dye) always has an excuse. We still have a lot of outstanding issues but can't find the owner. He wont return calls, texts......... My guess is repairs will cost my family another 10K. Stay away.

After meeting this provider at the Seattle Home Show (where they had a very nice display and friendly people working) we decided to have them quote a job for us.  We've called this provider twice, trying to schedule. After leaving a voicemail and receiving no return call, I tried calling again.  Chris picked up this time; we chatted briefly about what kind of work I was looking to have quoted. He said he would call me back when he was back at the office, however I never received a call.  

Cascade did a poor job. Our deck's paint was in bad shape and needed to be powerwashed off, sanded, some boards replaced, and finally painted. The flower beds had grass encroaching and some plants needed removed. Cascade was contracted to do this work. They dumped the new mulch on top of the encroaching grass instead of removing it first. They did remove the plants but never planted the new one. A person who had apparently never used a powerwasher before butchered the wood on the deck. (The weather was rainy and cold so this created a problem for scheduling the work.) They replace the necessary boards. We ended up telling them we would finish the deck ourselves because the weather was difficult to schedule around and we were afraid that given the poor quality of the powerwashing it would end up looking terrible. It took us days of sanding and wood putty repairing to get the deck to a point where we could paint it. The overall impression was that we would never hire them again and would never recommend them.
