Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I hired Cascade Built to design and install an HRV system, venting and HVAC on a new hosue. They designed a venting system that didn't even meet code requirements for ventilation CFM. When I told them my bathrooms needed fans to supplement the HRV system they told me they didn't design the venting and were not responsible. They installed a ducted mini split that centered over an interior wall making future access to the maintenance hatch impossible. They also miscalculated the heating/cooling load of the top floor. They replaced the base unit with a larger size but did not increase the size of the distribution ducting. The replacement equipment will operate under higher pressure than the manufacturer's design and will wear out prematurely. In addition to the shoddy work, they took almost three weeks to do the rough-in work on a single family house…I strongly recommend that you do not hire them. I’ve built over 100 homes and never encountered a sub this bad.
