Description of Work: Installation of a NAV deck in my new car. The install was okay, but they said they would do it one way and then did it another. They said they could integrate the backup camera from the rearview mirror and then 2 days later, it stopped working and when I took it back in, they said the signal was too weak for 2 displays. So they put it back the way it was, but would not refund the labor for that part of the install until I raised h*** with them. I feel like Car Toys overcharges and under delivers. It's the big guy cutting as many corners as they can to increase their bottom line.

car stereo installation, phone wiring
 + 0 moreI was given a car stereo and speakers purchased from this Car Toys location. They up sold the purchaser on the speakers, I understand its part of their job. The purchaser also paid for installation of all of the stereo equipment. Car Toys failed to charge for the speaker installation. When the vehicle was dropped off, the store staffed notice this and said "we'll take care of you." They took care of us by not installing the speakers. And not refunding the money paid for the speakers. In fact they weren't even going to give us the speakers back. I find this to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had with a retailer. Essentially they were going to keep our $40 and the speakers for their mistake. I would not purchase goods or services from Car Toys again.

 + -1 moreWE TAKE ALL OF OUR NEW CARS TO CAR TOYS DOWNTOWN SEATTLE BRANCH, FOR CAR ALARMS. THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB FOR US. IF THE ALARM EVER NEEDS ADJUSTING, WE JUST DROP IN AND THEY ADJUST IT. THEY HAVE NEVER CHARGED US FOR THIS SERVICE, EVEN IF ITS YEARS LATER. THE GUYS WHO WORK ON THE CARS ARE NICE AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Description of Work: CAR TOYS, DOWNTOWN SEATTLE BRANCH, PUT AN ALARM SYSTEM IN MY 1994 MERCEDES.
