He came prepared with parts he thought he might need based on our phone call. However he took the time to ascertain the true nature of the problem and didn't replace something which wasn't broken.

Three years ago I hired a contractor to replace an aging boiler with a tankless water heater to provide both radiant heat and domestic hot water. That company is no longer in business and I had frequent service calls because I couldn't keep my house warm. Martyn's first service call occurred when I had neither heat nor hot water and no one else was willing to come out. Eventually I decided some modifications were in order. Martyn provided photos and schematic drawings to patiently explain what he would do and why. His work was done timely, proficiently and with minimal disruption to my household. We are currently considering a second phase to minimize the lag time inherent in my tankless unit and I am convinced that if I elect to proceed I will receive the same quality level of workmanship.
