BUSER ORNAMENTAL IRON WORKS

Pete Buser is a very personable guy, and he likes to chat. He showed up late to our meeting at the house to take measurements for the estimate, he had someone come into the shop as he was getting ready to leave, and I can imagine as he likes to talk to people, he probably got caught up. He was very apologetic though. He took measurements, and we discussed code and what would look good as far as length and style, which I appreciated. None of the other people who gave me estimates really took the time to talk to explain these kinds of things to me, just kind of told me what they thought would be best. Mr. Buser ended up coming back with the best price for the job, and he did win me over with his friendliness. We had a deadline from our insurance company as to when the railing needed to be installed by. Originally Mr. Buser told me it would take about 3 weeks, which I cleared with our insurance broker. However, he called me a little over a week after I agreed to have him do the work to let me know they were ready to come install the railing. I really appreciated the fast turn around. All that said, the railing was installed, and it looks very good. It seems sturdy, and they even filled in some of the cracks and holes in the existing retaining wall for me while they were cementing in the posts.

I got the call from the company very quickly and the owner was very friendly and informative. The owner was professional, but nicely casual too. The estimate was accurate and explained with great detail. When the workmen arrived, the work was done well and quickly. They always called and kept me up to date on what was going on. I couldn't be happier!

I called Pete and he was able to meet with me at my house very quickly. He took measurements, provided an estimate, and we discussed what style he thought would look best on my older home. He had two ideas, so I followed him to his shop to see samples. After getting an estimate from another company, I chose to use Pete. His price was much more reasonable, and he was able to get it done quickly. He can probably keep costs down because he doesn't have a fancy website, and the proposal is a bit informal. But I had complete confidence in him since he has worked in this family business for a long time. He is very easy to work with, and it all turned out great. It looks wonderful and was done on time and at the proposed cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We spoke with Peter and then met him at his shop to look at some samples. Based on our rough drawings he gave us a bid subject to final measurement. He then came to the house, took measurements and confirmed that his original bid was accurate. The next day he called and told us he re-measured the job and the actual cost would be about $200 LESS than his original estimate. His work was excellent, installation was well done and right on time. Final price was as expected.

It went great! I left a message for Pete on 2/23; he called back 2/25 to discuss my needs and give me a price range. We then set an appointment for him to come out on 2/27. After seeing what I needed and taking measurements, he gave me a definite cost that matched his phone estimate. We had the rail installed on 3/6. It's beautiful and exactly as I expected. Pete was very personable and a pleasure to do business with.

Very well. Less than a week and a half for them to bid the job until completion. Very nice and pleasant.

Buser made and installed the window guards in less than two weeks. They look nice and are well made.
