BUDGET MOVING & STORAGE

We had neighbors refer us to Mike and Budget Moving after having used them several times with great results. We were not disappointed! Mike was very responsive in getting an estimate together (same day) and questions answered. He worked coordinated with the packing company we hired - they work together often. Moving day, the guys showed up with two trucks and 4 guys for a local move. And dare I say it was borderline enjoyable. These guys like their jobs, they listened to us and were very professional and efficient and conducted our entire move with no damage to our household goods or either house. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience and would use them again in a heartbeat. We would also recommend them to anyone who asks. Great value and great service - hard to beat.

Mike Tracey handled the planning and budget, meeting the agreed-upon days and times and within the proposed cost. The move was complicated because it took place on two different days several weeks apart, involved multiple stops, and included ferry trips. Mike's team of Chris, Jerry, and Roger packed with care and with speed - a hard and rare combination. There were a few pieces that needed special attention, which they provided professionally.

Mike's crew of two guys arrived on time and efficiently moved everything in two hours. Furniture included living room, dining room, bedroom and office. They were polite and friendly.

They were very efficient and on time. It was just two guys and they completed my 1 bedroom apartment in record time. I also tipped them 60 dollars on top the total price.

They did a great job (far superior to the movers that moved us in) maneuvering my over-sized and heavy furniture through tight turns and narrow stairs with a smile. The only negative was that they sent three guys ($150 per hour) for a large-item only move. Most things took two people, so the third guy spent was standing around part of the time.  I did get the idea that lot of people say "large items only" then have the movers take everything anyway, or have the large items buried behind boxes, so that may have factored into their crew selection.

It was a terrible day, the day before was a big blizzard.  Miek the owner got chains out and got his trucks up the hill.  They worked a full 12 hrs.  Nice company.

We moved houses and Mike was referred to me.  When I finally confirmed my move date, Mike was able to squeeze us in.
Mike and his crew were great.  Very friendly and fast.  They have 24 ft trucks which is nice compared to other companies that might have only 21 or 20 ft.

They bring blankets and tie of sections of the truck to secure your items.  The put down carpet in the entry way to avoid tracking in to your house.  Used blankets to lay down table tops on the hardwoods.

I paid them totally $1800 which included the tip as well.  I’ve used them before.  I used them again because I just had a good experience with them.  They were highly rated on Angie’s list by the other people who had used them and that’s the other reason why I used them.  Their price was a little high but I think it was worth it.  I will definitely use their services again in the future.

We've had great service from Mike and his crew in the four times that we've used them. During our last move, they helped moved some large pieces of furniture to my brother's house as well as move the rest of our large furniture to our new condo. As always, they are on-time, friendly, professional, very careful, and very reasonably priced. They are also very accommodating if we had to change times for some reason. I would use them in every move and recommend them highly. I first learned of them through my husband whose company had used them in two office moves.

I could not be happier with the move. When I scheduled with Mike, I got exactly what I wanted - even though it was on somewhat short notice. He was upfront with pricing and did everything he said he would do. Joe and Oscar did the actual move - arriving early and full of great suggestions on how best to get everything done the way I needed. They were extremely pleasant and friendly, respectful of my belongings and really efficient. I would never call moving fun but this experience came pretty close. I will use them for all my moves from now on and will recommend them to anyone.

Remodeling a house and moved some items to an apartment and then later the remaining items to storage. The owner Mike is a straight shooter. No idle promises. Realistic estimates. No funny business. Reasonable rates and superior service. Hard workers who were careful, quick and responsive. Moving can be a stressful time and its nice to deal with pros. Oh, and they were right on time. I will be using them again in about 8 or 9 months when I move back in.

Spoke with Mike the owner who was helpful in answering my questions about prices and what was included. I scheduled for a week later, which wasn't a problem since it was a weekday (Friday). Nice to know there is a slight additional fee if you use a credit card, but also a small discount if you use cash. Maybe regular price if you use a check -? Not sure. On the day of the move, the movers called a few minutes before they arrived to let me know they were almost there. They were on time, professional, friendly and efficient. There were 2 guys and 1 truck. Everything made it without incident - nothing broken or damaged. They wrapped and padded furniture, disassembled and reassembled anything that needed it. Garment boxes included in the cost to move hanging clothes. Move went smoothly. Good experience.
