Andrew did an expert job installing pictures molding and then caulking and sealing it. He also repaired a hole in our lathe and plaster wall. We live in an old building with textured walls that can be very difficult to work with. Andrew has experience with old buildings and with lathe and plaster, and his work was meticulous and turned out great. Because it was a small job, he also fit us in pretty quickly when he had an unexpected opening.

I first hired Andy Brouwer about 3 years ago—I heard about him through a friend. Fast forward 3 years and we not only trust him with work on our house, but we trust him to do the work while we're out of town. He's super responsible and even watches over the house and feeds the cats. Andy also has a high standard for his level of finish, problem solving and research when fixing or remodeling portions of the house.

I have had Andrew work on a couple projects in the past.  Given that I have a 105 year old house, it works best for me and the contractor to agree to a time and materials arrangement as one never knows what you will find, once you open things up.   Very comfortable with that arrangement.  Andrew is very good at thinking though the issues and coming up with a solution and doing the work with professionalism and high quality.  Would not hesitate to have him back and have  recommended him to others.
