TJ showed up on time during the quoted time window. He was courteous and professional. He had the plug cleared in no time. Before leaving he tested the water to make sure it was draining properly. It wasn't flowing to his satisfaction, so he snaked it again and found that some debris had re lodged in the pipe. After that was cleared the pipe finally drained correctly. TJ was very thorough and made sure the job was completely done and done right.

Excellent. Jeovany came out and performed the work. He was very prompt and very helpful. Jeovany definitely went the extra mile and actually hustled around the house, at times jogging from one end to the other. His quote was thorough, he even crawled under the house to check things out before giving his bid. His competitors did not do that.

What seemed like a relatively small job turned into a much larger one, but Dave and his plucky apprentice handled it with great care. I basically had a second story bathtub drain that was leaking into my furnace area on the first floor. It was in a very awkward spot and up in the ceiling, so Dave spent the first trip diagnosing whether or not it was a gasket or a leak in the fixture, then the second trip he brought his skinny apprentice to stand behind my furnace and work on the upper pipes. After finally finding the broken pipe, they planned the fix and came back on day 3 and executed it. The work was done professionally, courteously, and didn't require major reno work on my end. Honestly, I can't recommend Bob Oates plumbing enough. I've had them out 3 times for three different issues and each visit has been a successful repair/service with cheerful and helpful staff.

I called Bob Oates Plumbing on the 26th of May. I had been noticing a sewer type odor coming from my crawl space intermittently over the past two to three weeks. It wasn't going away so I decided it needed to be looked at. Made an appt. for the 27th. Casey came and I gave him the details of the smell. He went into the crawl space shortly after asked to flush the toilet. After doing so determined the toilet was leaking. He is just a trouble shooter so he does not travel with a fully equipped work truck. He made an appt. immediately for a plumber to come out the following day. Very professional and personable. There was no charge for his visit. On the 28th Ryan came and replaced the wax ring that seals the toilet to the sewer line. This is routine for these guys. He was done in less than an hour. Just as Casey very professional and personable and did a very nice clean job.

The sink drain was cleared. That worked, but he charged $300 plus tax. Instead of repairing the leak, he wanted to replace the whole piping structure for another $300 which would have cost me $600 to clear a drain and plug a leak. I asked why he couldn't just fix the fittings instead of a complete replace. He said he would change the washers and that might do it. He then unplugged the sink, ran the water, didn't see any lead and he left with no further repair. He called me and said the lead was no longer there since it wasn't on a load. As soon as he left, my renters tried the sink and it was still leaking. They called him back and he said he would not come back because he had another appointment. A perfect bad plumber story.

Called Thursday Mar. 26th about 4:30. Talked to Raya about scheduling an appointment. She offered next day the 27th between 9:00 and 11:00. Not to busy with the coronavirus issue happening. TJ arrived at 8:50 Mar. 27th. Evaluated problem, looked in crawl space and determined best plan was to run the snake down the bathroom vent. Carried the machine up the ladder (very impressive) and went to work. Had me test bathroom basin, no backup. He was out of here by 9:50. Very personable, professional and efficient.

The Tech quoted $535 to pull the unit off the wall to find the problem. Bigger job than I thought. $535 sounded very fair only once I signed the quote, he pulled the make shift plug out of the trap and snaked it from there. He replaced the trap and was out of there in under an hour. I feel like I was bamboozled for twice the cost of a service call.

We used Bob Oates' services to install a garbage disposal in our new house. The technician showed up on time, explained the work that needed to be done, and did a great job installing our disposal. Additionally, he graciously took the time to answer questions we had about other plumbing needs in our house. Office communication went very well. The scheduled technician came late because the other technician was injured on the previous job. The office called me to adjust the expected time. The work has been done well. The technician, Connor, is very responsive and solve my clogging issue.

He came and did a very good job, He was able to identify the problem and it was not from a pipe leakage, he suggested to contact a contractor to double check on the roof and chimney. He did not charge me anything, he is a very nice and kind guy.

Ryan did an amazing job of removing all the old fixtures and coming up with a way to secure the new sink so that the fixtures can be lifted easily when the countertop is replaced during remodeling in near future. if I could give a higher rating than "A" I would gladly do so.
