They came out when schedule, they performed good work. Overall I was satisfied with their performance.

The workman arrived on time and fixed the Toliet quickly. The garbage disposal was irepaired also saving me the cost of replacing it with a new disposer. I was very pleased with the work overall and highly recommend this company.

Overall, the experience went well. They’re very good at what they do! Both of the technicians are very competent; I never have to worry that they don’t know what they’re doing. I feel like I got what I paid for.

My toilet wasn’t flushing properly, so they sent someone out to do the work. However, he was only a drain specialist, not a plumber. He snaked it and then left, but it still didn’t flush properly. He came out again, and said it would be the last time he’d come out. He said that I needed a new toilet. I had a Toto, which has a lifetime guarantee. However they didn’t tell me that—he gave me an exorbitant estimate to have it replaced. He didn’t pull the toilet and didn’t check the no-seal wax ring. He wasn’t able to do it because he wasn’t a real plumber. I felt that it was a scam, since I didn’t get an actual licensed plumber.

They were great. I just thought they were very honest with what they did and the advice they gave.

The plumber showed up on time and looked for leaks to the dishwasher. After discussing her findings with me I showed her the water supply to toilet and told her about the leak. She fixed it without hesitation. It took about 1 minute.

Our housemate actually met with the plumber, as I was at work, but he found him friendly and thought he seemed reliable. The work was done quickly, and the only reason I rated the company a B instead of an A is because we're having similar problems four months later. I don't know if the fixes done weren't lasting, or if the root problem is that our pipes/fixtures just aren't that great. If we needed better fixtures to avoid future issues, I would have appreciated some advice on that while the fellow was here. I would use this company again but would make sure I personally spoke with the person doing the work, so I could ask questions.

Overall experience was good. Although the price seemed high, the plumber was pleasant, timely, efficient and seemed knowledgeable. The job required two trips due to some work we had to do prior to moving the gas line, and they didn't charge us for a second call.

Since the work has not been done yet I can only comment on the plumbers who gave me estimates. Both were professional, punctual, and gave me advice that will allow me to spend my Big Deal credit most effectively.

August 30: Plumber arrived and was telling me that there are other issues due to water pressure, etc. (I had been in this house for 5 months at this time and hadn't had any problems with the toilet). I felt that the issue was solely with the toilet. I again stated that I wanted the whole interior of the toilet replaced. When the plumber left he gave me a bill for $192 for "rebuilt toilet". After he left running water sounds would come from my toilet off and on every 20 minutes or so which seemed to me that water was leaking somewhere and the toilet wouldn't fill anymore. Called plumber and they'll be back on Sep 4. I was concerned about my water bill going up so I weighted down the flapper and still heard the water running. On September 4 again the plumber said it could be my home's water pressure or maybe my water heater (which is brand new as of June of this year). He even was trying to tell me there was something to do with the bathtub. Turns out that on August 30 only the flapper, fill valve and supply line were changed. This time the plumber only replaced the red flapper (said the one put in on August 30 was defective). STILL heard the water running. Called again and someone else came out on September 13; this plumber said the problem was with the red flapper which he said was defective....the second defective one. He replaced the red flapper with an orange one and also needed to change the chain which was part of the original tank parts. The reason I won't have them back is that: 1. they didn't replace the entire guts of the toilet which I very clearly asked for when I made the appointment and asked for again after the first visit 2. on two of the visits they were implying that more extensive repairs were needed on other items (example: tub drain and/or water heater) when I knew the problem was clearly with the guts of the toilet

The tech showed up and wanted check for sewer cleaning. I showed angies list prepaid coupon. He then wanted to collect the 109 that was prepaid. I had to explain big deal to him and gave him copy of coupon. He then went back to office with coupon and to pick up video scope. Came back about 30 minutes later with equiptment. Performed service and gave us dvd of interior of sewer line to street. I asked him to clean drain in bathtub as it would fill up with water during shower. Performed service. I asked for quote for minor repair in laundry room. We had replaced washer and dryer previous week The washer valve had a damp spot below the shut off handle. It wasn't even a drip. The quote he gave was for a complete tear out with replacement of valves and drain for over $800. I declined and planned to get other plumbers to look at this problem. The following week another plumber replaced our dishwasher. Afterward I asked him for recommendation and quote for laundry room valve repair. He gave 1/4 turn on nut under valve with wrench, Problem solved, No charge. He explained that sometimes this happens when washing machine water lines get replaced. I will rate the second plumber A+.and will place review on Angies list.

I was excited about the Deal, they came out and gave a good bid for the job so we scheduled and appointment, but they never showed up to and never called me. When I finally got a hold of them, the best they could do was reschedule three days later, which would not work for what we needed, so we will not use them again and we will get a refund for the Deal.

Great. He was very professional. Gave me lots of options but didn't pressure me into doing what wasn't necessarily needed.

These guys were wonderful. They provided our estimate, and they told us exactly how inexpensive and simple this project was to do ourselves if we wished to do this on our own. They saved us alot of money on a job we were not aware of we could do ourselves. For their great service, we will certainly come back as customers in the future!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal because I finally gave in to the fact that I was never going to personally install the kitchen faucet and garbage disposal that I had purchased and had sitting in my garage. Best was very responsive and able to match my schedule. Best charges for services based on a set pay grid which the plumber showed me so I knew exactly what I was getting. He was very cordial and answered all of my questions.

Problem solved. New piece and new stopper. No problems

They are a great company. They are always on time and do great work. They will work with you on prices.

When you don't know how to detect and fix very simple plumbing issues, you pay the price. I know plumbers are expensive, but this is closer to day robbery. I take the $300 I spent on this encounter as the fee for the lesson I learned. $300 to replace two washers and 15 minutes of work ? Well, the good news is the issue is fixed :). Just because I had purchased the $119 for $200 deal on Angie's List, I thought I would use that towards this event. I have worked with couple of other plumbers before who are way more reasonable and I know where to go (and not go) next time.

Good job with the work. I observed the entire job. My only real complaint is with the bill and the process surrounding billing. I know plumbers are expensive, so I'm hardly surprised when getting a larger than expected bill. However, in this case (and I am not suggesting it was special; no doubt this is common practice) I was double-billed for some of the work done. In addition to the labor hours billed I was also billed for the act of putting the snake down the toilet (flat fee). So the job total was about a hundred dollars more than I expected it to be. As far as the process surrounding billing: *give the customer a detailed bill at the time of service, with billing amounts!!* I want to compare that with the invoice that comes later. In this case I felt that they did not match, but I had no recourse as all I got at the time of service was a peek at the hand-written job detail that the plumber wrote up to take back to the office. In 2012 it cannot be that hard to provide something to the customer at the time of the job - either on paper or electronically.

Plumber was perplexed at randomness of leaking, but after discussing with me, both agreed the only answer was to pull the toilet off, see what was going on. Revealed that the original installation had used the wrong wax ring, so toilet was leaking intermittently. Cleaned off floor and replace with proper ring, refitted toilet. Problem solved, no more leaking, cleaned off stains on floor. Couldn't be happier with result.

Plumber arrived on time and was courteous. He was puzzled when presented with the form from Angie's list saying I should get $200 worth of plumbing for the $119 I had paid. Said he hadn't heard of that offer. Proceeded to go to his truck to write up a "bid" for the work. This came to $557. He subtracted the $200, which left me to pay an additional $357 plus tax ($391). This was rather a shock to me, but I had him go ahead and do the work since he was there. It seems the work was done properly. Everything works. I was just taken aback at having so much extra to pay. I had asked earlier how many hours the original $200 would cover and was told it did not translate to time spent. I am happy to have this work done but wish I had known how much it would cost. No repairs or parts--just hooking up existing lines.

I received above and beyond what I paid for. He was very helpful, and did a good job. He did he forgot to turn the water back on but I called the office after hours and they took care of it right away. He solved 3 problems when he was here, and was something that I had wanted to have done for years.
