John and Korey painted our entire house inside and out. It looks fabulous! They were so nice. They cleaned up each day and always kept us in the loop. John was great with color selection. The attention to detail was superb. Would highly recommend

John and his team did a great job painting the full interior of our house: all walls, ceilings, and trim in 9 rooms (~2500 sq feet). There were many imperfections and irregularities in the wall texture, but all looks flawless now. John provided useful guidance on color selection, while being respectful of tastes. The team moved all furniture and cleaned up daily, leaving our house spotless as the work progressed. We would definitely choose Benham again for future painting needs.

John Benham and Korey did a fabulous job painting the inside of our home. The place looks like new. The doors and kitchen cabinets look perfect. We had been contemplating replacing the doors and kitchen cabinets for years thinking that there was no way that “just a paintjob” would bring them back to life. I wish we had done this years ago! John graciously worked with us on some last-minute changes, and kept us in the loop throughout the process. Excellent communication! We’ll be hiring him again ☺

John came to an estimate. After a discussion, he came back for a color/paint consultation. It was wonderful. He saw my vision and improved on it. Most of the interior of the house was painted. He was very professional. The work looks awesome. He left each day with the sites clean and safe from our pets. He always communicated with me. I am so pleased with the results. We will hire him again to do more work later. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with both the work and the price. It's so hard to get good work done in Seattle at a decent price, but these guys were spot on. I'd definitely hire them again.

I could really cover this entire review with two words; HIRE THEM! I don’t think I have had a more pleasant experience with a company in years. Each day they would arrive at 8 am sharp, and quietly, room by room, move furniture and paint. When they finished painting for the day (4:30 pm sharp) the house looked like no one had been there except that the room looked so much nicer with a fresh coat of paint. Their edges are crisp and their attention to detail wonderful. Writing without the superlatives our house definitely needed some attention as 15 years had elapsed since we built it and time, along with “drying out”, had left a lot of cracks that needed caulking and painting and we wanted to change a few colors as well as keep many wall colors but change the finish. John was very prompt in returning a quote to me. His bid was not the lowest but it was also not the highest. We picked him because I felt very comfortable with our conversation about what to paint, what kind of finish to use, time needed to do the job, how to handle furniture moving, wall paintings (we have many) removal and replacement, etc. etc. To me, that was almost as important as the painting itself. I eagerly recommend John and Korey to all and will absolutely use them again if I need anything painted.

Amazing! Super service, work product, and responsiveness. John had me scheduled right away, and checked in with me on a daily basis. They did a fantastic job filling small holes, texturing, and painting my front entry way, kitchen, master bedroom, and den. I'll be scheduling additional work in a few weeks.

We would use them again and we're very happy with them. It went really well. They did what they said they're going to do. They have good communication. They're easy to talk to. They did a good job that's why we had them come in again and do the outside. They forgot to paint a little piece between the door trim and the wall that's very difficult to get to. It's visible. You can't really know until you walk by. It was a fair price for what they did.

The paint job is stunning! My condo has been transformed by the work John and Korey did. I had them use a number of colors and completed my selection of colors with some input from John. I am extremely pleased and would recommend them without reservation, and give the highest praise to their work.  I had several interviews with painters and painting companies and knew immediately that I could relax with this company.  They noticed things that needed doing that I hadn't and the other painters hadn't. I am a perfectionist and was surprised by the beauty of their work.  Work was completed in a timely manner; they were punctual, accommodating to requests, and kind and helpful throughout the process. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They showed up on time every day and did an amazing job.  Even with the high ceilings and multiple colors they were able to do it quickly and clean.  We even changed some things half way through and they were very flexible.

The paint is exactly how we want it and it was clean and easy for us.  The team never complained about the boxes and moving we were doing as they were painting.

The work was completed promptly and nearly.   John picked up the new trim and stained and varnished it while some new floors were being installed, on short notice, so that it could be fitted while the flooring work was being done.
John also helped us with color selection, and the results are harmonious.

We needed someone to come in fast (within 2 weeks) because we had a deadline for getting our house ready to be put on the market. I called several painters for estimates, but Benham Painting was the only one who could do it on such a short notice and for a great price. They arrived on time, worked very clean and fast and even took care of some extra touch-up/fixes I came up with last minute at no extra charge. I will definitely hire them again if I need the inside and/or outside of my house painted in the future.

John and his crew did an incredible job.  They are communicative, punctual and deliver a quality product.  John in particular shows a lot of concern with getting the job done right.  We had to repaint the entire interior of a house that had dark colors everywhere.  He made sure the was no bleed through.  The house also had a couple of oddities in it where John advised us on what the right thing to do was pain wise which saved us in the long run.  His prices are fair and honest and he makes sure you are getting what is in your head as the final product even if that means additions and change outs midway through.  He also does a great job of updating his customers and bringing them along with progress.  I couldn't be happier with my experience with Benham painting.  I would definitely  use them again.

I needed this paint job done quickly and they were able to work me in just in time.  They were able to do all the touch up/cover up work referenced without having to paint the entire walls.  I was very pleased.  They do an excellent job and are great to work with.  I gave the price a "B" rating because I don't really know what to compare it to.  Everyone painter we've used in Seattle is expensive compared to what we're used to coming from Atlanta.  This is the second time I've used Benham Painting and I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were the first ones that I got referred to. They did a really good job. My experience went pretty well. He helped me with color choices and that turned out really well. I was very pleased with that; in particular the door because I hadn’t specified doing the door a whole different color from the base and the trim. All his suggestions turned out really well.

We have worked with John Benham and his crew before and were thrilled they could come work at our home again...especially as it was a last minute request. As I was out of town, my husband wanted to surprise me by repainting our bathroom that was having moisture issues . John and his crew painted with a high varnish to ensure that this problem would not persist. They are all timely, courteous and very trustworthy. Look forward to working with them in the future.

He was great. He does a good job too. He did reschedule because of some family stuff going on. The price was definitely compatible with everybody else. He came out a bunch of times to make sure everything was ready before he came out to paint. The rescheduling was inconvenient for me and he waited to tell me only the day before.

Mr. Benham was very thorough in explaining to me what could be done to the various situations in our house.  He spent a great deal of time to ensure I understood.  There were no surprises.  There were 2 people on the job at first, then 1 for the last 2 days.  They were prompt, professional, trustworthy, detail oriented, reasonably priced, very clean, very considerate, and a real pleasure to work with.  The work they did is beautiful.  I can't say enough good things about Benham Painting.  I plan to hire them for all my future painting - including 2 jobs coming up this winter.

John Benham is very professional and trustworthy. I had no problem leaving him alone in my home to paint while I went to work. His estimate was fair and almost equivalent to other estimates I received, but I chose him because he seemed very knowledgable and interested in doing a good job. When the light color we chose for our walls didn't quite cover the previous color in two coats, he called me at work and offered to stay late and paint a third coat. I appreciated his dedication to get the job done right the first time. I will definitely hire him again when we need more painting completed.

John went above and beyond to make me happy. He and his staff are a pleasure to work with, timely, professional, and friendly. John was able to bring some great ideas to our home and still keep my vision and color scheme. They are thorough, but time sensitive. And I couldn't be happier with the results. 

Overall I am completely thrilled with the work John Benham has provided me on interior painting. From the very first call I made to John to saying good bye to him this evening after an amazing job done I have been nothing but impressed with not only the workman ship but the caring nature and work ethic put into everything John does.  I have never had to hire anyone to do anything like this and was a bit intimidated by the whole process but John really made me feel comfortable and safe, which as a woman is important when having men come work in your home, and like I really had made a good choice. It was like hiring an old friend to come do work for you except your friend is incredibly professional! Not only was the work top of the line, but incredibly quick, they had quite a lot of work to do and completed the whole project in just one day with out it cutting any corners or impacting the quality of workmanship. I was also very impressed by the price of the job, the quote AND final price were both literally half of what another painter had quoted us, a painter who seriously lacked the professionalism or friendly nature that John does business with. I was more then happy to see the bill and know that not only had I made the right decision, getting a more then fair price if you ask me, but knowing this was good quality work done by men who knew what they were doing but cared about it also. If you're looking for a professional, friendly, knowledgeable, detail oriented painter, John Benham is your man, he can deliver what he sells and you will feel great about your decision! I truly cannot imagine having hired a different painter for this job, I really feel that I will be able to rest my head at night knowing I had the very best job done at the very best price and that makes me very happy.
