The refinished floors look so good that I don't want to use area rugs. The refinisher removed years of scratches and gouges, completed the job on the schedule that he had set, and satisfied all my questions about the refinishing process.

Phil was completely professional and the floors turned out great.  B Pacific was not the least cost quote, but because we had to leave the house in his care for 3 to 4 days for the Swedish finish to dry between coats, we wanted someone who would do the work himself (not bring in some unknown work crew) and was personable and  trustworthy.  Phil Sloniker was the perfect choice.

The floors were finished beautifully. My clients were pleased with the way they looked and Phil did the work when he said he would. He was easy to work with and came in at the price my clients agreed to with no last minute extra charges.

The house sold 4 weeks after it was listed and I do think the look of the hardware floors (and having hardware floors) helped serious buyers to take this house as a top one. The house was 64 years old and the red oak was|commonly used than and still maked a quality flooring.

My floors had needed refinishing for years. They were original to the house (1997), and the original finish was worn down, they were gouged, and some boards had water damage. I had previously gotten an estimate from a and quot;nameand quot; floor refinisher in Seattle, but the price was high, they said they'd have to replace a bunch of boards, and I wasn't impressed with their customer service. So I let the floors go until I saw a B Pacific van at a neighbor's; I took the number and called Phil - taking my daily walk sure paid off!
Phil did a fantastic job, and is quite knowledgeable and professional. When he came for the estimate, he provided good advice on the quality of the flooring, choosing a finish (went with clear Swedish), and what was involved. He said no boards needed to be replaced, that he could sand and patch and it would look fine. It was a three-day job (one day to sand and patch, two days for the finish coats), and he was meticulous about protecting the rest of the house from grit and dust and cleaning up. The drying time and fumes usually require you to vacate the house for two days, along with pets and plants, but that was a problem for me with three cats and several large plants. Instead, Phil helped me move the plants to rooms that could be shut off, and I corralled the cats upstairs in my bedroom (the wood floors are downstairs); and he even offered to provide food and water if I was unable to check on them! (I stayed with them, tho.) He provided careful instructions on what not to do during the finish process, and when he was done, he even rehung doors and other touches that were outside the contract.
The floors are so beautiful, even better than I expected. Doesn't even look like the same floor - it's like I relaid better wood! The warped boards and water damage are gone, and you can't even tell where it was or what was patched. The clear Swedish finish is lovely, and there was no spillover stain on any floorboards or fixtures.
Can't say enough about the quality and professionalism of Phil Sloniker. He's a one-man band, but he does craftsman work, is considerate of his customers and their situations, and the results are totally worth the cost and temporary inconvenience.

The company was very helpful, on time and did an excellent job. The floors had been under rugs for 30+ years. They now look great. I will use B hardwood to do both bedrooms in the future. I highly recommend this company.

The work went very well. I liked their efficiency and their timeliness. They finished the work quickly. They were accommodating as we had a list of things we wanted to be done. They also moved our furniture. They were very good. When they moved the furniture back in, we did not find a lot of scratches on our new floor. Their price was reasonable too.

The experience was excellent. Phil was very accommodating when I originally misjudged the amount of time it would take for me to scrape up the linoleum adhesive in the hallway, rescheduling for a later date. He lent me a floor scraper for several weeks to try on the adhesive. When Phil came back after I'd finished, he was very quick, taking two days to do both rooms and the hallway. He kept the tools and work area compact so we could get around the house after he left for the evening. When finished, he left clear instructions for when to resume furniture and rug placement on the refinished floors. He left the area very clean when he was done. Phil is very trustworthy. I had no problem with leaving him a key and returning several hours later. He was patient and thorough in explaining what he was going to do and answering any questions I had.

They returned my call right away and they were actually very aggressive into getting me to hire them. They always showed up on time and worked very quickly. They were a little expensive, but mostly because we didn't expect to have to install the floor. My experience with them was perfect.
