Kevin Monahan, owner, is a great communicator with both homeowners and his teams. The team took our ideas and transformed them into a wonderful design and implemented these seamlessly. Avalon's crews and project managers are also very strong in these areas. A joy to work with. The follow up with this company is outstanding. We look forward to having them back on site soon. The schedule that Kevin presented to us was exactly what happened... no surprises. Crew is made up of intelligent, prompt, hard working, nice people who get the job done and really enjoy what they are doing. It really shows. We look forward to having them back on site for Phase 2 (back and side yards) very soon. We believe that the expense was completely in line with the amount of work, level of expertise and final outcome of the project. We continually have neighbors and people just driving by, stop and comment on the work that Avalon has done. As a discerning home owner, it was a very positive experience.

A very surreal process (but in a good way)! Kevin, the front guy, is very personable and is able to listen to you and ascertain who you are very quckly. This project meant a lot to me and it's hard to gauge what you'll get because landscaping your yard isn't something you do more than once in a lifetime (unless you're made of money of course). But I really liked their website and took the chance that if I could get something like what they portrayed there, man, would I be lucky! It worked!!! Wow! They know what they're doing and stand behind it. They sure can work well with stone pavers and rocks in general. Was very very happy with their work. It was so much fun to come home every day and see the changes. And now a couple years out, as the plants are growing, I'm still smiling because I have a beautiful yard. Every time I'm outside, people walking or driving by say "hey, I really like your front yard." With Avalon, you'e given a detailed estimate up front and barring any changes you may make, that's it. Kevin told me he stands behind whatever they did and by god, he means it, which is quite reassuring. They take pride in their work and if you're not happy, they're not (and I'm sure their standards are higher than mine). Am saving my $$ now to pay them to do my back yard to create my own little paradise for my retirement years. Can you find someone cheaper to do the work? No doubt you can, but I would highly recommend Avalon for peace of mind. I didn't feel like they were from the hurry up, get the job done and skeedaddle tribe of landscapers. They're just nice hardworking guys with integrity--what a concept! And the smile factor is huge--priceless!
