It went wonderful!! We went in not knowing what to buy and Amber in the showroom was the best. She made you feel special and at ease. Her expertise is outstanding! We left the store with our purchases very satisfied. Some items needed to be ordered, but came in during the time Amber had said they would arrive. She kept us up to date with either a phone call/email. The plumbing installer was very professional and knowledgeable. We will be calling them back for help with more plumbing needs after the remodel.

These folks were great! We went in looking for a drain to fit a challenging somewhat atypical bathroom sink and they were patient in finding out just what our sink was like, and then found a drain that would fit. They explained the installation in simple terms so we knew what to expect. The drain fit perfectly and was as easy to install as they said. We'll definitely go back to these folks when we need anything like this in the future.

had to wait several days for service because their “sump pump specialist” wouldn’t be back to work until…. before this specialist did the work, i suggested taking off sliding doors to closet, getting his shop vac out etc… he said “oh no I don’t need to do that”. he disconnected my pump, he could barely fit in space because of doors. he took my pump apart and **** water flew all over. then he proceeded to tell me that my pump was over kill and that it was NOT a grinder unit!!! he didn’t know first thing about Saniflo cubic 1 pump. never worked on one, never saw one, though he acted like he knew what he was doing!!! what a jerk. something has gone wrong with aurora plumbing. they helped build two of my bathrooms in 2002, when Don was there. when Don left, their service went from high quality to never use them again. sorry that i put faith in them to know what they were doing. lastly, my pump had same issue within a month of their service.

Got a bid for this job for $ 703.90 - way too high a price for a simple job that shouldn't take more than an hour. I am an older woman and run into this kind of thing way too often. I told the plumber it was a lot more than I expected to pay. He asked that I sign the invoice to say he was here ( at my house I guess) I told him I could not do that. He put " customer did not sign " on the signature line and a zero in the "Please Pay This Amount" box. I asked him for my copy, when I got into the house the wording where he wanted me to sign said that I "authorize the work... etc." I called Aurora Plumbing and spoke with Jesse and told her about this, she said it didn't mean I agree to the work, that they have been meaning to change that - I will never set foot in Aurora Plumbing again.

Hook up a Moen faucet which I had purchased for my downstairs powder room. The Moen faucet came with all the needed parts for the faucet. I needed Aurora Plumbing to provide 2 water lines and a union peatrap.

They did a very good job. It was a fancy toilet, it was $600 plus installation. Doing all the faucets in the house, they were about $50 each. They didn't leave any mess, they cleaned up. The guy even wore little booties. They were very good. They even got rid of the old toilet and didn't charge me any extra for that. They did a wonderful job on the faucets. He replaced the plastic with stainless so all the balls are stainless and they won't wear out like the plastic.

Kitchen: on time, professional, friendly, clean, tidy, etc. Bathroom: the faucets I selected didn't fit in the hole. They were returned, cost refunded and new ones ordered (they should arrive soon). Kitchen sink: ordered: installation pending.

Deric Hayes and his partner were very personable and polite. They were in and out of here in no time at all. I would certainly recommend them and, in fact, I am going to call them back today for another project I am needing done.

I had a leak around the base of my toilet which was easily fixed by tightening the bolts around the base. I had a different company come out before this one and told me that I would need to remove all the tiles around the toilet which would cost about $2,000. The technician from Aurora Plumbing, Deric Hayes, did not charge me anything at all since he only needed to tighten the bolts.

I have used Aurora Plumbing before with success! Wow what a difference. They cleared the sewer blockage but then "found" another problem. II was told that I needed side sewer work as the house sewer and the side sewer did not meet, due to a very stressful day and a hard sell, I agreed. The hole they dug and the new fixture cost about $7000. I had two other bids to finish the work which would have cost me another $12000. My other bids for the hole were for $1500-$2000. When I objected to Aurora Plumbing. ( as they did not fill the hole, did not finish the side sewer drain out fixture) they "dropped the price to $5400. I had a new side sewer line installed and another hole dug with another clean out all for $7500 instead of $5400. + $12000' which it would have cost me if I had not "fired" Aurora Plumbing

I called because I wasn't sure if I needed a plumber. They told me to come and have the defective part checked out at their store. I did that and they supplied a replacement part at a very reasonable price, and told me how to install it. It worked!

I can not say enough about the professional, knowledgeable manner in which Tyler and Robert presented themselves. They were personable, friendly and engaged. Entire process went very smoothly and we had hot water that afternoon. Replacing old tank was a big relief for us.

Most went ok but plumber had full access to visually inspect old metal p trap and did not recognize that the threads were deteriorated where new drain was to tie into it. Consequently water leaked into down stairs causing the ceiling and floor to get very wet. Minor thing tub spout was installed about an inch off center. Called another plumber, he came out, identified the problem immediately, installed a completely new p trap, problem solved.

Install new bathtub, overflow, and tie into old drain, install new rough in diverter valve and straighten out hot and cold water pipes.

Outstanding---We used the condo recommended company (not Aurora Plumbing) to install a new hot water tank at a "discounted rate". The individual broke a pipe and repaired it. He said all is good and left. After a few minutes we noticed a leak at the joint in the pipe and called him back. He stated that he is NOT a plumber and we will need to call one. We called Aurora Plumbing who responded quickly. They sent a licensed plumber out who not only repaired the leak but re-piped the line from the wall to the water tank correctly. He explained every change he was making and why. He corrected the previous companies shoddy work. He also cleaned up and left the work space spotless. Thank you Aurora Plumbing for being a "top notch" service provider!!!

Terrible. Told me to wait a week before they would send a plumber to do an estimate. Gave me a three hour window to wait for the plumber. After I took the day off work they called on the same day and canceled. I used Aurora Plumbing before but never again.

The job was completed and successful. However, I was very frustrated as my appointment for this service was cancelled by aurora plumbing on me twice. When they did show up on the third scheduled appointment, they had no parts on hand to perform the job and they had to leave to purchase them which added an extra hour of waiting for the job to complete. I described what the project required when scheduling the appointment. Also, the pricing structure has apparently changed with this company's service. I have used Aurora plumbing several times in the past and they have always provided detailed list of cost of parts and labor cost per hour. For this visit, the estimate provided gave me a flat rate of $2512. This was about three times what I had expected in cost based on estimates of charges for previous services provided. I was quite shocked, but I was in a position where I could not wait on this, so I gave the approval to get the job done that day after waiting so long for two previous cancelled appointments. The approximate time to perform this job including obtaining the parts was 3 hours. This equates to about $833/hour for this service. This job was way overpriced. I dislike posting such a negative experience with this company since previous services from AP have always been fair and prompt. But I feel this review is warranted to be fair to myself and other AL members for future consideration of using this company for their plumbing services.
