It was not my home, but I paid for the service. I had checked with three other service providers and this was the most reasonable for the work, and he gave a discount. After he was recommended to me, I looked on Angie's and found three other reviews which encouraged me further. He was competent, rapid, did all the work himself, as his asst. was not able to come at the last minute. He came on the day he promised. He took two days, but we were not in any hurry, and I assume that if we were, he would have adjusted his program to meet our needs. I would use him again. Actually, I will when the need arises.

They were AMAZING! Gave us a great price, were on time, super professional and threw in some extra removal for free. I would never use another tree service. These guys are GREAT!

After a big ice shower last April, they came out and cleaned up 5 big limbs that had been snapped off. He got the tree, a plum tree, back into good health. I really like him because he's extremely knowledgable about trees. He always takes the time to talk to me about everything in my yard and what's going on in it. His work was good and thorough. He cleaned up and he is very pleasant. He told me what to do when I could do the work myself. I'll call him every time for my small stuff.

Great. Great. I called several Tree Service companies from Angie's List. I got several quotes and I think Atlas was the least expensive and had great reports from past customers. Morgan was very generous with his time and talent. Spent a lot of time with me talking about the 2 trees, what he was going to do and why. And was actually helpful in what I'd describe as 'counseling' me through the removal of the cherry tree (which had a lot of emotional significance to our family). Also, I must say that I was considering removing the small maple tree (as it didn't seem that great and would've been one less thing to worry about). But after Morgan thinned and pruned it, I'm struck by how great it looks.. very cool. Morgan was very competent, worked very hard and conscientiously. I was very happy with the service he provided.

The guy did a beautiful job bringing out the shape of the tree. Had the eye of an artist, knew which branches to cut out to make the tree shapely. Really decent egg. A great guy!

After the big winter '06 windstorm, I couldn't even find a tree company to available to return my calls about a VERY large Pine tree that fell on my house. Only Morgan from Atlas Tree Care gave me the courtesy of a response and a quick follow-up. He also set up a time to come to my house in a very timely manner considering the circumstances. His rates were very fair compared to other tree services I have used, and he was a super nice guy who obviously knows what he's doing. I asked him to be careful around my landscaping and he was so diligent, it was really touching. He also worked in freezing windy rain in order to help me stay on schedule in getting my home repaired. Morgan really bent over backwards for us and definitely went the extra mile -- he also had no problem doing a few "add ons" to the job -- he was really pleasant and a joy to work with. Finally someone who actually does what they say they will do! I will definitely recommend Atlas Tree Care to friends and use them again.

This is a small company that I have hired on three separate occasions. They are easy to reach on the phone, provide a free estimate quickly, and carry out the work in a timely fashion. They are not cheap, but are willing to work long and hard to achieve high-quality results. The proprietor is friendly and explains clearly what needs to be done and why.
