This was a job for my 94 year old mother-in-law. Initially there was a problem with some windows being painted shut. They tried to open them but said they could not. After a complaint to Angie’s and a clarification by my sister-in-law of what windows should be opened they tried again and were able to open them. My mother-in-law was ‘thrilled’ with the results and would happily recommend them. And in the initial work they did an excellent job painting the bars around the windows.

We really enjoyed working with John and Arrow Painting. They were very professional. They were responsive to calls, showed up on time every day, thoroughly checked their work to make sure it was okay. They even addressed problems we had by taking additional steps.

The job started within 2 days accepting the offer. John's lead drywall installer immediately pointed out that the job would take an extra day due to the large number of recessed lights. The drywall was hung and taped and by the 4th day, the 1st coat of mud was applied. Due to the cold and damp conditions of our unheated basement, the coats of mud took much longer to dry than expected. We placed space heaters in the room to help and John's team worked through the weekend to try and finish as soon as possible. The entire job with cleanup was completed the morning of the 10th day. Overall, the quality of the work was good. The only reason I rated a ''B'' in the quality of work section was because two of the electrical outlet holes were damaged (nickel sized tear/hole on edge of hole that cannot be covered with larger wall plate) and others cut slightly too large for a standard wall plate cover (large wall plates did the trick). The recessed light holes and board seems were great.

THEY WERE REALLY DEPENDABLE, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND DID MORE THAN PROMISED. LIKE PUTTING NEW HOUSE NUMBERS UP AFTER PAINTING, AND EVEN WASHED OUR CAR WHEN PRESSURE WASHING THE HOUSE.

John Fabatz is the owner, and I gather that he has owned the company for many years. He no longer does any of the actual painting himself, but rather has one of his painting crews do that. He is the person that you deal with regarding all aspects of the job other than the actual prepping and painting work, however. And for the latter, he hires good people, and makes sure that they do good work. I am 100% satisfied with the job that they did, and I believe that the price that I paid for the job was very fair.
