Arkadia Woodworking

All cabinets were made from furniture-grade plywood, except for the doors and drawer faces, which were made of clear alder. The doors and drawers were sent to a local finisher to be lacquered in a natural, non-stained finish, which turned out magnificent! We went through a number of bids from competing cabinet makers, most of which used pre-made or mass-produced "boxes", and their bids tended to be more expensive. Arkadia's were genuinely hand-made. They came to the house to take measurements, create templates and verify everything to our satisfaction. They were quite helpful, from suggestions on design, to picking the appropriate hardware and pulls. We would recommend Arkadia to anyone who wants quality hand-made craftmanship!
