Anthony's Hardwood Floor

We are very happy with the way the floors turned out and the way Anthony and his crew performed the work. They fixed all of the flooring issues and there were a lot, And good attention to detail - the new dining room matches the rest of the house perfectly. They were very accommodating to our schedule, pleasant, on-time, finished the project when they said they would, and cleaned up everything afterwards.

DO NOT USE! Anthonie applied a poor finish and claimed it was Swedish. A few months later the finish was coming up and failing. He promised to fix it and cancelled numerous times over 6 months. It is still not fixed and he has one excuse after another to cancel. He is now telling us he won't fix it. I can't caution you enough to stay away! We had several other hardwood finishers look at was was done and they said it was the worst finish job they had seen.

Anthony and the team did a great job.  They scheduled the job months in advance and were on schedule and on time.  They matched our existing hardwoods and reused the existing hardwoods that we had where possible.  They removed our carpet, refinished the existing hardwoods, added new ones, and stained everything beautifully.

Anthony was a delight to deal with.  Very knowledgeable and willing to answer all our questions.  Provided a competitive price, accomodated changing plans and completed the job within a reasonable timeframe.  Prompt and courteous.

Hardwood floors turned out beautiful.  Quality work throughout.  The team was very professional, did a thorough clean-up of debris, and worked diligently till project was completed.  Would highly recommend them.

Anthonie's team were prompt, professional, and they worked in utterly searing (high 90s) heat in the middle of a rare Seattle summer heatwave to get our job done so we could move in. They did almost 2000 square feet of flooring in just a few days. The result was beautiful. We were very pleased that we did not stain the oak.

I was reffered to Anthonies from my real estate agent. He was very prompt to come out for an estimate and the price was very competitive. They were able to adjust what they did (and thus the price) to my specific needs and budget. They were able to adapt to my schedule of when I needed it done (as we stayed somewhere else for a couple days & nights). They arrived on time, taped off cabinets and other areas to control dust, did a quality job and cleaned everything up when they were done. They even finished earlier than expected. The only concern I had was that I had a little trouble understanding Anthony (the representitive/owner/foreman) over the phone, so I was worried he did not have a clear understanding of the schedule, but we did and everything worked out great. I would definitely use them again.

Anthony has a very busy company(According to his business card, it's "Anthonie's", but his name is spelled Anthony). He brought plenty of samples as well as a portfolio of his work done along with plenty of references. We'd be happy to be a reference for him since he did a great job with our house. He explained that he takes great pride in his work, and he's not happy if the customer is not happy. His schedule was booked months in advance, but that was in 2006, during the housing boom. If we redo the downstairs, we will call Anthony first. He explained that we had to be out of the house when they did the finishing due to the toxic fumes, so we made it a point to go somewhere overnight, and they finished on the weekend. It was great to see them as they did their work. It used to be a carpet, and the subfloor was really warped. Some other bidders asked us to put some really thick subfloor and use self-leveling cement, etc., but that would have been really expensive. Anthony explained to my contractor to just add 1/4" subfloor, and he'll be able to work with it. The result is that the floor is contiguous throughout the house.
