I had a great experience. I was on a tight timeline and was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling. Lance McIntosh came to the house and spent about 3 hours there. He was very knowledgeable about older homes and did a very thorough job. He took the time to explain things to me as we went through the house and I received a comprehensive report with photos that same week. I was very happy with the detail and accuracy provided. I feel comfortable that I have a clear picture of the home's strengths and areas that need addressing as a new homeowner. Pricing is based on the age and size of the home and I found the price to be comparable to other inspectors. My realtor, though, strongly recommended Lance because of his experience which definitely came through.

The Amerispec agent arrived promptly and went to work immediately. He was very thorough and checked the building literally from top to bottom. He spent a considerable amount of time in the crawl space and also spent time on the roof. His work resulted in the seller crediting us the cost of a new roof at the time of closing.
