AMERICAN HARDWOOD FLOORS

They did a great job, very professional employees. They started the job on the date they said they would, and completed it on schedule. They replaced boards in a couple of areas of the existing floor that were damaged, and you can't tell where the damage was. The oak they used is beautiful, better quality than the existing floor. The floor looks great, and we can't see the difference between the existing and new floor colors. You can't tell where the existing and new floors meet. We would hire them again for any wood flooring job.

We are very impressed with the quality of the work performed by American Hardwood Floors.  When Garry came out to give us an estimate, he pointed out several shortcuts in workmanship the prior installers had done. (We had not been happy with our prior installation, so we were very interested in what other hardwood installers would say about it.)   He was very explicit on what needed to be done to fix our floor.   His estimate was the most thorough of any of the bids we received.
We were remodeling our kitchen, removing two walls and needed to have new hardwood laced in, sanded and refinished.  We also have a sunken living room, which needed a new header and new cap.  The previous cap was over an inch out of square, which I hadn?t noticed, and both pieces needed to be sixteen feet long.  Garry was able to locate the new wood.
Scott, the installer, does excellent work.  The floors look incredible.  We will definitely recommend this company to anyone
in need of floor work, and we will use them next time we need refinishing or repair work done.

did a fantastic job.  clean and neat.  very professional.  but the process really smells up the house for more than a week (not their fault, just the chemical used to seal the floor).
