We recently had the knob and tubing electrical replace in our house and were left with dozens of holes in our plaster walls. I called multiple companies for estimates and am incredibly happy we chose to go with Mike at Allied. He was able to come out to give an estimate quickly (one company had a 2 week wait just for an estimate) and sent the quote by email with all the details. He was able to do the repairs immediately, came exactly when he said he would, and they repairs work fantastic. Also, after dealing with multiple contractors in our house I was really impressed with how clean he left everything once he was done. Before he left he gave detailed instructions about prepping the patches for painting. A few days later we managed to make a new hole in our wall doing other repairs and he was able to repair it immediately and included it in the original cost. I would highly recommend Mike at Allied Plaster.

Mike came out and gave us an estimate. At first we were a bit skeptical because he did not measure when he did the estimate. We went with him anyway because he came so highly recommended. He has been doing this work since he was a teenager and I guess he can just eyeball it because the work was on time, on budget, and beautifully done. The walls are now perfectly smooth and look great. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Mike to anyone.

Mike and his team applied skimcoat plaster to three ceilings in my 1930 home. The existing ceilings had a combination of old water damage and extensive cracking with some plaster separation from the wood lath. The living room ceiling was especially challenging since it was a fancy coved-and-coffered affair (Tudor-style home.) Mike and company did an outstanding job. They showed up on schedule, worked fast and efficiently, and left a smooth, professional-looking finish.

Mike and his team did great work, but had to come back and redo two of the walls since you could still see the outline of a door that had been removed and filled in. Getting them scheduled and then back in again for the redo was a bit of a challenge with how busy they were and with several of their team on vacation. Once they came back and re-plastered the walls, they look fabulous. I just wish it had been done that way initially.

Mike is very enjoyable to work with. He and his workers arrived right on time every day and were very responsive to all of our requests. They were detail-oriented and skilled at what they do. Our walls look great!

Plaster and lath walls cracked because floors were leveled out. Mike's estimate was half of what I got from another company. (I paid cash.) He came to start two days after we agreed on it (most everyone else was 3 weeks out). They finished in two days. They worked one weekend day. A lot of work was accomplished so quickly. He and his crew did an excellent job.
