Description of Work: The gentleman who answered my call concerning a washing machine problem,was very helpful . Although he stated that his company ,and many others, did not service that brand of machine due to serious problems he very kindly made some suggestions for solving my problem . He didn't need to do that and I didn't pay him a dime for the phone call. If I ever do have an appliance problem,he will be the guy I call.

Description of Work: I called Tom because my clothes washing machine was stoppin in the midd;le of the wash cycle. He gave me some tips as to what was wrong and how to limp along for a little while. He was exactly right! I had him come over and he fixed it, and he also eductaed me about how to get the best use of my washer, dryer..and even how much soap to use (Apparently Seattle has very "soft" water, so, use 1/4 the soap you would normally use). It was actually hard to get him to stop talking he was so enthusiastic! So, in summary: he gave free, and exactly correct, advice on the phone for nothing (i.e., for free), then came over and fixed it quickly for a reasonable amount of $ (very fair) and taught me how to extend the life of my appliances, use less water, and less soap. I would not hesitate to employ Tom again!

Description of Work: We called because our Amana Frig stopped working. He asked us a few questions and diagnosed the problem and gave us instructions to fix it right on the phone! We are very grateful and would like to highly recommend him to others. We will use him in the future. Thank you!

Description of Work: Came promptly (within an hour of my initial call) to determine cause of no heat for my dryer. Found broken wire and repaired it.

Description of Work: I called to inquire if this business repairs Bosch dryers and the gentleman answering the phone simply said, "No" and was then silent. I asked if he could recommend anyone that does or point me in the right direction. He said, No, I don't know anybody that does." He was not friendly nor did he attempt to be helpful in anyway whatsoever.

Description of Work: Wow. I called for a repair, but based on my description of the problem the nice man (yes a person!) on the phone explained the problem, why it happened, and that replacement will be less expensive than repair. Great advice for free - I am keeping this company's info for all future calls!
