All About Down

I have used this company for many, many years and I am shocked that nobody has ever reported on them before. They specialize in fine down products for your bed. The guy who runs the place has been doing this type of work for 30 years and I don't know what I would do without him. His prices are fair, his sewing is beautiful and he is the most knowledgeable person I have ever spoken to about fine down products. We have a summer and a winter weight comforter for our main bed and over the years he has cleaned it, re-stuffed it, re-designed it. I think the last project I brought to him was to add more fill to a couple of existing pillows. He washes the feathers and the ticking separately and then puts how ever many extra ounces of down that you wish to purchase into each item. Fine goose down breaks down over time and use, so in order to keep our pillows fluffy, we never replace them, we only add more down to them. I can't imagine ever going to a place to buy a fine down pillow or comforter. And there is no reason to ever throw out a pillow...you just get the feathers washed and have new fill added to it. I hope he never goes out of business, because I don't know what I would do without him. Thank you for your many, many years of excellent service!
