Alki West Seattle Key & Lock

I called Stan at Alki Lock and key and he was able to respond within 45 minutes. A. very nice guy and since he was able to pick the lock the charges were extremely reasonable. Everyone else I called was at least a 2-3 hour wait. I highly recommend this company.

I called yesterday to change all the locks in the house. They showed up today and job was done within 45min. Job well done!

I called up Alki West Seattle Key and Lock after a disappointing experience with one of their competitors.  The representative at Alki really listened to my explain my problem.  There were no hard or sneaky sales tactics.  I never felt rushed.  We discussed my needs and came up with a solution together.  I hate it when sales people talk over and around you in order to make a sale.  This was not my experience at Alki.  It was a conversation rather than a sales pitch.   Once we decided on a solution, Alki was able to schedule a next-day appointment that suited my calendar.  They were very flexible.  The installation was quick and the locksmith was friendly and professional.  I will definitely use Alki West Seattle Key and Lock in the future.

idenceThey were great! On time and were thoughtful about what we needed as new home owners. All of our exterior doors had different locks (four doors total), which was a pain. After looking at all the doors, they were able to put the same lock on all of them so that we only needed one key.
They were nice on the phone as well as in person. We couldn't be happier!

They were very responsive and understanding when we had to change the time of service.  They were readily available, and showed up on time.  I would absolutely recommend and use again.

The whole experience was a new one to me and there was no waiting and no pushing of products by the store owner. I believe they also do mobile work and will come to your house.

I had a lock with the incorrect key stuck in it.  A quick phone call,
recommending me to pull the lock myself (honestly, 90 seconds ) and
bring it in to the shop (one mile away), so as to save me the service
call fee especially given ow close I am.
Sadly enough, the lock with the problem was faulty cheaply assembled (Schlage, with a plus sign above the cylinder). 
Options provided: 1) Go the hardware store & buy a new deadbolt for them to key (they are still available on the shelf!)
 2) Spend a bit more for a better lock (from the neighborhood store I was already in) and have it keyed.
Opting for the quicker, one stop, long-term solution (let me not forget, this lock was a year-and-a-half old, installed by another smith).  They did it for me, in-and-out with pleasant conversation in 10 minutes.
4 minutes with the lock and a power drill back at the house & all is better than it was before.

Appeared to basically do a good job, but was late and seemed to take a little while to complete the work. One of the locks sticks a bit.

THEY CAME OUT AND WERE ABLE TO CHECK ALL THE DOORS WHICH SOME HAD DIFFERENT TYPES OF HANDLES IN THEM ETC. SO THEY DID A SWITCH OUT AND WERE ABLE TO GET NEW LOCKS FOR US.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL STAFF/OWNER. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND QUICK TURN-AROUND TIME. ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE WENT TO THIS LOCKSMITH AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE ALSO.
