We had a table we needed protected from our dogs and cats and called Al's to have a glass table top made for it. I called and was given some info and answers to questions and then told to make a pattern of the table. I was a little concerned about that part, but it worked just fine. Brought the pattern in and in just a few days rec'd a call that it was ready. It fits perfectly, they quick and very friendly and I thought the price was great for what they did (it was a pretty good size table--roughly 4 feet square). I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

We returned from out of town to find that our UPS driver had broken one of our mud room windows (long story!) We called Al's glass and they were able to come out the next morning to remove the remaining broken glass and replace it with a new pane. They were here on time and repaired the window promptly - it's as good as new, though we noticed just recently that while they cleaned up the interior of our house pretty well, a bunch of shattered glass and window frame debris was left outside in our yard. They get an A on promptness and quality of work, but a C on clean-up (wish that were an option in the Angie's list grading).

I wanted to get a piece of glass to cover a rough granite tabletop in my kitchen. After finding their ratings here on Angie's List, I called them and ordered the glass (paying up front). They said it would take about a week to receive it (they had to order it). However, they had it ready for me three days later and called to tell me so. I picked it up, and am happy with my new tabletop.

They had come one day after I had called them and had measured the glass. They had measured it from the outside as it was the outside window that was broken. I was given a rough estimate of the price too. They had done a great job.

We called Al's Glass after not hearing from Royal Glass (they actually came out but never followed up with a quote). We told them what repair we needed, approximate size and location of the window; and they quoted us a bid. It seemed reasonable, and we set a date. Their technician came on time, and completed the the repair in a workman-like professional manner..

They had the material in stock. They had the door cut and ready for me in less than a week. I thought the price was very fair. They were very professional. They weren't quite able to match the edge of the door to the other door on my cabinet. Overall it was a very good experience. I could have paid more to have the door match closer, but the price wouldn't have been worth it.

I went to the store and choose the style of glass that I wanted and then left my cabinets there and within two days I had my cabinets back. And they looked wonderful.

We hired this company to remove our leaded glass kitchen windows, which are 4' x 5' approximately, encase them between glass, set them into new frames and then reinstall them. We talked to one other company prior to Al's Glass who refused to do it. They first came a year ago and at that time the estimate was about $4200. We waited a couple of months before deciding to go ahead with the job and I called them to say so. They never returned my phone call. The weather turned cold and rainy and we decided to wait until this spring/summer to try again. I called them in June of this year and they came again to look at the job and this time the estimate was $5300! We decided to proceed ahead in spite of the huge price increase. They estimated it would take 4-5 wks. to complete the job. It took twice that. They did not always return my phone calls and at times it took me calling a couple of times to get a call back. That said the end result was fantastic! They were always friendly and polite.
