AKI'S BODY SHOP

I have had work done here on several occasions. Most recently it was a minor issue, that Aki's did for such a reasonable price that I have to write a review for them. In my situation my car had received a minor amount of damage and Aki was able to use the same part on the car to keep the price low. They didn't need to do what they did, they could have told me that a new part was required which would have been more lucrative for them...but they didn't. They actually did what was right by me the customer rather than make a quick buck. If you are looking for an honest and good body shop you should consider Aki's. My experience has been nothing but positive, and I can't say anything more positive about their ethics. Good company!

They seemed very professional and capable, with a nice office and large work area across the street. But when I picked up the car, I was appalled at the terrible job they did on my door (which I didn't even think needed any work). The paint was wavy and runny and looked as if it were done by someone at a HS shop class. I went back in the office and asked the guy to come out with me. He took one look and told me that they would redo the job. When I did get my car back, it was much better, although there appears to be overspray in some places and it's pretty easy to see that the door has an "orange peel" look and doesn't match the original paint job. They also left cardboard sheets and dirty shop rags in the car. I would never take my car back to them. They need some quality control.

My insurance paid for the services, but it was my fault. I would rate them highly.

Outstanding. They are the preferred provider for GEICO. Paid $250 deductible. Have rental cars, appraisal and repair all on one site. One stop shopping as everything can be done in one quick visit. Finished car repairs 1 week in advance of when promised. Excellent repair work, completely like new, cannot tell car was ever damaged. Extremely happy.

I tried to get an estimate for body work after a collision. I was told they only did work for their "partner insurance company,". They would not take any other insurance company, or repair a car where the owner wished to pay out of pocket.

The employees are very professional and trustworthy. The work is top-notch. I took it around to three different places and they gave me the best price and told what things needed repairing and what things did not need to be replaced. Other places tried to convince me I needed to replace parts and added in extra costs that obviously weren't necessary. They got me in soon after and the car looks great. I would definitely use their service again.
