Hector came out on the weekend to estimate the job. Gave useful recommendations. Receive the estimate within a timely manner. As weather allowed, job was completed as agreed upon.

Very little for us to clean up. Would have liked to have known when they were finished, so we could have looked at our nice patio with them, and asked any questions, and to say thank you. We would not hesitate to work with them again. So, thank you!

Hector and his crew installed a smooth stained concrete surface on my condo's small aggregate patio in 2011. This year Hector found time in a very busy schedule to pressure wash and reseal it. He also manually cleaned the side steps leading up to the patio when he discovered pressure washing them would cause the water to splash onto the bordering flower beds. All is beautiful, sparkling, like new, and I am delighted! Krisanne coordinated the job with scheduling, paperwork, etc. Both Krisanne and Hector are fluent in English, communicate very well, are friendly, and great to deal with. I have highest praise for them and their company and recommend them without reservation. It is a pleasure to know Hector takes pride in his work, even when it is a relatively very small project like mine. Thank you, guys! I will be back!

I needed a sidewalk from driveway to front door and a 4 x 8 slab in front of french doors and a short sidewalk area in the back. After submitting a request for an estimate online I was contacted the next day and scheduled a time for Hector to come and give an estimate. Hector arrived just when he said he would and listened to what I wanted and asked some questions and took measurements. I thought I just wanted a sidewalk with a step at the door. Hector recommended a sloping sidewalk due to possible water drainage issues and the slope of our yard. We received the estimate a few days later. The estimate was a bit more than I had hoped for but that is probably just because I didn't have a realistic idea of costs. I agreed and I'm happy that I did.

We had scheduled around first week of October and Hector called on that Monday and said they would be there on Friday to build the forms. He then called on Thursday and asked if he could come that day and I said sure. He would build the forms and then come back when weather was good enough to pour. I was to look at the forms when I got home and ok them. Hector did a very good job in combining the sidewalk with the porch. Initially I thought it might be two separate forms but he tied them in very nicely.

With the threat of more rain (when isn't there a threat of more rain) they left up tarps to protect while the concrete set. When he came back to take down I was able to look at it more closely and found one area that need just a bit of a patch. I pointed it out to him and he, or someone else, came the next day and fixed it.

I would absolutely recommend Hector and Ace Concrete. Everyone was very responsive, professional, and a pleasure with which to work. I only wish I could have afforded a new driveway too, it would have looked great with the new sidewalk.

Hector did a great job resurfacing an existing concrete hearth. It looks great and was very professional. We’d definitely recommend him in the future.

The patios turned out beautiful. We chose the stamped concrete with the Ashlar slate pattern in a dark gray and it is fabulous. Everyone oohs and ahhs over it, and many think it is actually pavers. They did make a bit of a mess of our backyard, but that is the nature of the beast, and it is long since back to normal. They were very punctual and got things done on time. They even came on a weekend to finish things up so we could use it the next day on 4th of July!

This was a wonderful experience. We had a general concept of what we wanted but Hector was very helpful in walking us through our design options (which were many). He was able to advise on the layout of the new patio section, and color and pattern choices for the overlay of the front section and the rear section (two different work areas). Hector explained the many steps required to prepare our existing pavement for the overlay. This left me feeling very confident about how this was going to turn out. The new patio section had to be poured and cure for 30 days prior to the overlay work. I watched the pour and Hector and Manny were totally in control of the work--a pleasure to watch them work. They completed the overlay on the rear patio in the interim. The flagstone pattern looks fantastic--even the steps look like they were poured that way originally. The front overlay also turned out great. Manny worked closely with me to match the brick border section to the colors in the brick on our house. Hector and Krisanne (office manager) were very responsive, usually returning calls and/or e-mails within one day, and always happy to explain any questions I had. We are so pleased with how this project turned out. The outside of our home is more enjoyable than ever and a showplace for the neighborhood.

He did the work when he said he would. Finished on time and on budget. Great!

Hector (the company's owner) was the lead on all of our work and was very knowledgable about his business. He was able to suggest better ways of building the steps along the side of the house than what we had originally planned, and pointed out ways to improve the water drainage along the side. His workers were efficient and professional and the end product was outstanding. The only criticism we have is that he seems to be so popular as a result of good recommendations that he may be stretched a little thin with time. He had to re-schedule twice in order to finish other jobs. Granted, some of that was because his other jobs were delayed due to bad weather. Overall, he has a great company and we would hire him again.

My driveway was just a little two narrow by about 1.5 feet so I wanted to widen it. However, since it was aggregate, I was worried about how it would look and if the aggregate could be matched correctly. Luckily Hector and his crew did a great job. When it started pouring rain they expertly tarped it off so it wouldn't be ruined. A great looking job at a very affordable price.

They matched another contractor's estimate, and provided service well above what we paid for. The quality of the work is outstanding. Hector, the owner, and his crew were very professional and pleasant to work with. They thought through every detail, from adequate drainage, to easy maintanance, to safety aspects for our toddler. I would highly recommend them, and would definitely hire them again in the future.
