Steer Clear of Abodian Cabinets!! If you’re considering new cabinets, do yourself a favor and RUN from Abodian. We chose them to match our 2015 townhome’s original cabinets, expecting the same quality—but we were sorely disappointed. Initially, Caitlin, our designer, was professional, friendly, and met our expectations. However, after we paid the deposit, the problems began. Abodian delivered cabinets that were the wrong size, leaving our contractor unable to complete the install. Their lack of after-hours support meant our project stalled while we waited for a resolution. Despite knowing from the start that we were using a contractor, Abodian assured us this wouldn’t be an issue. When we finally contacted Caitlin and their sales manager, Chris, to resolve the issue, Chris was not only unhelpful but disrespectful. His condescending remarks about our budget and contractor were unprofessional and infuriating. Abodian's mistakes delayed our project by three weeks and incurred extra contractor fees. When the replacement cabinets arrived, they were scratched, damaged, and defective. One cabinet had a significant gap due to poor craftsmanship, and fixing it would require dismantling half the kitchen. The “install instructions” Abodian provides are laughable. They lack crucial measurements and proper guidance, requiring everything to be adjusted on site. Abodian’s cabinets come in generic sizes and are meant to be cut to fit on site—this is why they push for their own installers. Additionally, Abodian uses a different manufacturer for cheaper cabinets, explaining the clear difference from our original ones. Their practices are so problematic that you'd be better off with Cabinets To-Go. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Abodian.

Our experience working with Abodian to design, build and install our custom painted maple kitchen cabinets was fantastic - start to finish. Sally did a great job helping us design and narrow down the style of cabinets we wanted and delivered the cabinets on time to keep our remodel on track. Installation was also managed by Abodian and we were super impressed with Ed and his ability to problem solve the installation of the cabinets in our old, 1910 house. It took longer than anticipated, but Ed worked long days to keep us on schedule and the install looks fantastic - very happy with the quality and integrity of the product and the folks working at Abodian. Remodel not complete, but I added a few photos of the cabinets. We will be looking at this company to help us build cabinets when we remodel our bathrooms.

Joy Dolling was excellent to work with. She was professional, responsive, creative, precise, and helpful. The cabinets turned out beautifully. The quality and beauty are incredible considering the reasonable price. We had gotten bids from several different companies and, though Abodian was not the least expensive, they were definitely worth it.

I love them. The construction and the installation of the cabinets were great.

Everything went pretty well, the installation was great. The designer came up with an excellent lighting solution that has been working very well. The only downside was the color of the laminate isn't as shown in the showroom display, it's quite a bit off. We wish we had gotten a chance to see the laminate after it arrived and before our cabinetry was completed so we could have rejected it.

Love my experience. My wife and I had a very clear vision of what we wanted our cabinets to look like and how they would function in our newly remodeled kitchen. After shopping close to a dozen cabinet companies that claimed to make and ldquo;custom cabinetsand rdquo; we found that while each of them carried a door that was close to what we wanted, Abodian was the only company that could produce a door with the exact specs we were looking for. Abodian helped us create the particular doors we wanted. The width of the bead board panels, the grooves in between them, the width of the edges, the edge detailand hellip;even a color match to the existing trim in our home was customized to our specification. We couldn't be happier with the results. The kitchen looks great and the cabinets are the first element to draw compliments from our guests.

Our major cabinet project started out fine. I loved the clean look and the unusual design of their design. We like modern styling and were trying to make an older home home in GA look modern. During the planning process wife was living in Seattle, husband in the new house in GA. Abodian was punctual with designs and even sped up the completion to meet our timeline. The product shipped across the country to us in three days. They assured us they had done this type of long distance shipping before, but once the product got to us, we weren't so sure about that. Packing was not done well enough to assure that items were not crushed and broken. We had many broken pieces and parts were missing. Instructions were not easy to understand, many holes were left un-drilled and we were left to "retrofit" a lot of it ourselves. This is not an easy assembly product. We even used an experienced finish carpenter who for the money we spent on the product and everyone's time...could have probably custom built for the same price. Abodian did ship us replacement parts several times for the broken and incomplete order, but much time and energy and money was lost in trying to fix pieces and delay in waiting for them to arrive. In addition, for some reason.the design was changed in two bath vanities, not requested or agreed on by us, causing us much additional labor time (again the contractor at an hourly rate) and the purchase of new faucets in both baths as they no longer fit the cabinets sent to us. Overall, I might purchase these cabinets again, if I install them locally, not ship long distance and not this many rooms. I felt confident using them as an earlier reviewer mentioned they had problems, but Jeff took care of them after they complained of issues. The time and energy to put these together was way too big of a deal, and although they look nice now, for the money I would consider IKEA first.

We needed a custom closet organizing system, looked at many options, and chose Abodian, a locally-owned company that impressed us with higher-end finishes, a variety of real wood options, superior hardware, low-VOC eco-friendly products, a fair price, and an artisan approach. We met with them, toured their manufacturing facility, and signed-up on the spot. The result was a beautiful, high-quality product constructed with maple ply, designed to our custom specs, that exceeded expectations. The price was very competitive, and Jared did a flawless job installing. To be fair, there was a serious communication breakdown during the process, but Jeff D. was quick and sincere in reacting to our feedback, and Abodian (from the owner, Jeff Bowlby, on down) worked hard to make it right in the end. They made procedural changes to insure our issue wouldn’t be repeated, which is a strong indicator of a company that is committed to continually improving the customer experience. We’ll go back to them whenever we have a need in the future
