Lucian Popp called back in response to my voicemail and we arranged for him to come in 2 days to look at the situation. The trees were near the lot line, a fair distance from the neighbor's driveway and the street both uphill. We both agreed that it would work well for him to "roll up" 2 sections of fencing between the yards and the neighbor was fine with that. Everyone also was in agreement about what he would leave (16-18" rounds for her to use in her fireplace) and what he would take (branches put through the chipper). Two days later he and his crew came and did as promised. One person climbed each of the trees, cutting branches from the bottom up. Then the tree trunk itself down in sections. They were efficient and quite professional. < I just need to find fence professionals to unroll the fence and attach it. >

Very well. Ron was a thorough and efficient arborist who on two separate visits, effectively solved our old dead stump and invasive tree problem.

Lucian is a real straight shooter. Honest. Transparent. Hard working. Cut down three trees and stump grinded them. Performed clean up and also staged the area before so as to not damage our home. Highly highly recommend!

This is the second time I've used ANA. I needed 6 trees limbed back from overhanging the roof in preparation for a new roof install. Lucien came out the next day at the agreed time and did a great job, and there was no damage to the roof or to the wires that the limbs grew around. He's very knowledgeable and careful about preserving the tree's integrity, health, and aesthetics. I asked him to leave the wood and he was kind enough to cut it into small pieces. I highly recommend him.

First I will mention that I gave him a B for punctuality because he missed the first appointment that was made in the afternoon, because his morning job went long. He did call and let me know what was going on, and was very apologetic. These things happen though and at least he called.
We rescheduled for a few days later and he arrived right on time with his crew. They seemed to know just what they were doing, and were reasonably safe. Things went smoothly and took about as long as he said it would. We agreed on an amount to grind the stumps and he said he had another job to go to after the tree was done, but that he would be back and have it done that day. He was finishing the stump grinding when I got home later that day. The area was left clean.
The work was done as agreed, and I would definitely use ANA Tree Service again.

I had only wanted to remove two lower limbs from the fir tree (the most current job), but Lucian explained that other limbs needed to be removed, also, to make sure the tree was balanced and symetrical. He also said it was important to thin dead branches out above so wind would blow through the canopy rather than into it, thereby lowering the danger of it blowing down at some point. When I arrived home, at the time Lucian had said they would start, they were 2/3 finished. They cleaned up everything after themselves, and the only way you would know they had been there was the great work they did on the tree. Lucian is very good at what he does, and he is a genuinely nice person to do business with. I highly recommend him. You get what you pay for with his company.

I saw this tree service truck go by my house to a neighbors and since I had this relatively small job I went down to talk to the guy. Turned out to be the owner Lucian Popp. Things were not working out with the person he was there to see so I told him to come to my house. SInce he had showed up to do a job which didn't pan out he was happy to work with me. My tree was a little complicated as it was dead, right next to the house and interwoven with several other trees. If it was out in the open I could have done it but no way on this one. He quoted me $175 which I thought was more than fair. I was curious as how he was going to do it and that's when his experience and professionalism became evident. He set a ladder up and climbed as high as he could and then lashed the tree to be cut to a tree right next to it. THen he cut the tree into pieces FROM THE BOTTOM. SInce it was lashed tight it didn't move when he cut the first piece which in itself is very tricky. Then he started up the tree cutting as he went. When it got over his head he loosened his rope and lowered the remainder of the tree and cut some more until the whole tree was in pieces. I was very impressed with his skill. He cut everything into fireplace size pieces like I asked. So it worked well for both of us. He got a job he didn't expect and I got my tree down quickly and easily at a price lower than I no doubt would have paid with someone else. Mr. Popp seemed like a good guy and was certainly did some impressive work. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Great. Super-responsive and punctual. The owner (Lucian) comes out to give estimate and then brings a team back to do the work. Very reliable and professional. The first time he came out, to remove the willow, we were not at home and he called me on my cell phone to tell me he was finished and that he would come by after I got home to pick up a check (by the way, he did not require a deposit, just a signature on a contract), and he came exactly when he said he would. The next two times, he called afterward to see if we were happy, and told me I could just mail a check.

ANA TREE SERVICE DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THEY WERE PROMPT AND QUICK, BUT DID EVERYTHING. LUCIAN POPP, THE OWNER, IS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND IS WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE ANY NEEDS THAT YOU MAY HAVE, HE DOESN'T RUSH THE JOB.
